New Userbox edit

This user is respected by Tinkleheimer and has done great work in Tinkleheimer's eyes.

I made my very first userbox and am passing it out. I won't be terribly offended if don't put it on your page. And if you want to make one for yourself, just create a subpage under your user page and just copy/paste the code from User:Tinkleheimer/RespectedByTinkleheimer. Thanks!!Trevor "Tinkleheimer" Haworth 02:57, 31 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE: Why do you say that David Hayter is not a 100% reliable source? edit

Well, don't get me wrong here. I think Hayter is plenty reliable. It's just that treating his mention of Jigglypuff like Confirmation is overdoing it.

I have no doubt in my mind that Hayter knew what he was talking about. But there is still the slim, I repeat, VERY, VERY SLIM chance of him just naming names. Its true that Hayter was asked about Brawl characters specifically when he mentioned Jigglypuff, but his mind isn't a computer, so it's not like he answers correctly all the time. Theres still a chance that he was talking about the other Smash bros, albeit slim. He could have misunderstood the question just as likely as anyone else could.

Also, his "He knows the entire roster" bit is speculation. Nowhere in the Dojo says that there will be a Codec call for every character there is. And even if that is the case, we have no evidence that Hayter has finished recording all the calls (Although, this far close to the original release, that is likely to be the case. None-the-less, we don't know). And besides, the game is still in development.

And last, Brawl is still in development. Sakurai and the development team could just as easily not include Jigglypuff and delete it's data on a whim. Of course, chances of that happening after it being officially announced is really low. The fact that Jigglypuff was leaked without any concrete proof (ie, A video/screenshots of it) and not officially revealed makes it a rumor, and until proven, Speculation.

Take for example Donkey Kong. During the E3 2007 convention, A video was shown and distributed officially during an official Nintendo conference. The problem was, Donkey Kong was shown in the video before he was shown on the Dojo. Donkey Kongs small appearance in the video showed him as a playable character, and it was an official movie. Hence, THAT was as good as confrimation. But this is NOT the case with Jigglypuff. All it got was a mention by a voice actor in the game, which is not solid evidence of it's inclusion.

Like I said, Hayter is very reliable, but we cannot take his word as confrimation because of the lack of evidence. Sorry for ranting so long, but I hope you understand. DengardeComplaints 23:57, 5 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

True enough, but even so, the main point is that theres no actual evidence that Jigglypuff is in Brawl. Just a small mention won't cut it. I know how you feel, but it can't be helped. DengardeComplaints 00:41, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
