Bring Me to Life edit

Please stop adding the Katherine Jenkins cover details to the Bring Me to Life article. That article is for the Evanescence version, and the existing details for cover versions is enough. There should not be two competing infoboxes in a music article. If you have adequate sources and enough details, you should consider building a separate article for Ms. Jenkin's cover version, but what you are wanting to add simply does not belong in the existing article. It only serves to confuse matters, especially when you want to add separate categories for her cover. Huntster (t @ c) 11:06, 8 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Nicky Byrne2.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Nicky Byrne2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Katy Perry discography, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Idolator. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

What is the reason for blocking my account? Can you give a damn reason why the source is not valid. I used it on Katy Perry discography before then someone said it is not valid because I'm cherry-picking the sales update. The sales figures came from IFPI according to the site so why is it not valid? You also blocked some updates on sales of Dark Horse and One of the Boys that did not came from ChartsMaster.org. Even the certifications of Feels, you blocked. You guys are kinda unfair.User talk:IndianBio

See these diffs. Snuggums (talk / edits) 14:02, 17 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

{{unblock|reason=At first I am not aware that I've put an unreliable source. The other editors are arguing about chartsmaster.org if it is appropriate as a source of sales on Katy Perry discography. There is no resolution saying that it is unreliable so I insisted that it is reliable, not knowing that they considered my edits as disruptive. Later on, they removed my edits and I am absolutely okay with it. I even helped them to remove my past revisions on the article. Also, I added some good sources on the article and I think I should be unblocked because I am not yet done improving the article. I have many good sources found on the internet that we can use for the sales of Katy Perry's albums and singles. Let me grow as an editor, no one is perfect so are you. I will do my best to undo my mistakes and elevate my potential as a Wikipedia editor. Thank you and I am expecting for your kindest consideration.}}

Chartmasters isn't the concern in this case; you've also previously inserted inflated figures and more recently have blatantly snuck in unsupported figures, which is even worse. You know better and have no excuse for adding things not supported by any references. Don't think you can get away with deceit like that. To any admin reading, I urge you to decline as Shane already has gotten away with too much fancruft and fully deserved to be blocked for continuing with it and WP:IDHT actions. Blocked again, for the same reasons as last time. When the block expires, please discuss rather than continue to insert unsourced/poorly sourced material. Acalamari 00:57, 19 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
You seriously need to stop inserting fancruft and blatant inflations. I will say that a sourced inflation is better than pulling something out of nowhere or fabricating numbers, but you very well know it's still poor practice and obviously are looking for ways to insert high numbers regardless. Cut that out before you get blocked once more. Snuggums (talk / edits) 04:56, 29 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
