- Why not sort by the year the competition was played? For example, 2006 World Cup --> 2010 World Cup --> 2014 World Cup. It looks cleaner and easier to follow that way since they'll be in order. - I disagree and think it's clearer when sorted by medals. It is also the common usage around here if you check a few sport articles (Katie Ledecky, Usain Bolt, Ed Clancy, Diyora Keldiyorova, just a few i picked randomly). I never saw it done any other way. Kante4 (talk) 19:26, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
