The article Walter R. Nord has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable academic. No evidence of independent coverage.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Reasons for keeping the article edit
Wikipedia:Notability states that for an author to be notable, there must be "Sources of evidence include recognized peer reviewed publications, credible and authoritative books, reputable media sources, and other reliable sources generally."
The academic being discussed has a huge number of published academic articles published in well respected internationally renowned journals. He has made a contribution to the development of organisational studies by widely researching his area, and synergising the results to come up with a conclusion.
The author has also published a more controversial article in a book, critiquing the publication system in a fictionalised case study (Frost and Cummings, 1995). He has also done other similar "case study" based research. Senington (talk) 10:29, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
