December 2015 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to The Quarrymen may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Notice edit

On the John Lennon article, consensus was not needed to change the infobox and my edits therefore should not have been reverted. The StormCatcher (talk) (contribs) 08:22, 18 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

For what it's worth, I'd rather see the musical artist infobox than person infobox on that article, I just thought that consensus was needed to make a big change in the presentation of the article, especially a featured article (as would be needed with a change in the main picture or the lead paragraph). User:Seltaeb Eht/sandbox/3 edit

Hi Seltaeb Eht. Just wanted to let you know that I commented out some non-free cover art being used in you User:Seltaeb Eht/sandbox/3 per WP:UP#Non-free images. Non-free content images such as these are only allowed to be used in the article namespace per number 9 of Wikipedia's non-free content criteria. It looks like you're working on a draft or an improvement, so when you're ready to add it to the article namespace, simply remove the markup I added. If you have any questions about this feel free to ask them here or at WP:MCQ. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:20, 31 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited My Bonnie, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nobody's Child. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:37, 31 January 2016 (UTC)   Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give User:Seltaeb Eht/sandbox/3 a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.Reply

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Charlemagne, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Leo III.
