TRIFID edit

I'm working my way through the Classical cryptography articles and find some anomalies such as

We don't have an article called "Trifid cipher" Search Wikipedia for Trifid cipher - it might be called something else. ...but you can write it!

But I've seen it and read it.--Steve 08:45, 4 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image:Ball-peen_hammer_380mm.JPG edit

If you have a chance, could you upload this to Commons so I can get to it from Wiktionary? Thanks. Steve Summit (talk) 20:11, 26 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

AP Mines edit

Nice work... soon we'll have this page and Land mine (from which I spawned AP mines) in a much better shape! Deon Steyn 06:03, 29 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Heliograph edit

Thanks for the reply. It was while I was researching and creating the various sunshine recorder articles that I found out about the Heliograph, as a sunshine recorder, and wondered how it worked. I "assume" that the mirror burns a piece of paper but I couldn't find out for sure as all Heliograph sites talk only about signals. They took our Campbell-Stokes recorder away about two weeks after I took the picture. They now use solar radiation to tell the amount of sun. Kind of miss the thing, as we don't get to see how much we had, but it sure is nice not having to clean the frost off at -40C. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 06:22, 2 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ditch article edit

Hi Securiger- Ran across the ditch article while messing around in the moat. Is there some reference material that supports the distinction you make between trenches and ditches, at least for military engineering? The main dictionary I use for general definitions doesn't agree with that distinction. Thanks. -Eric (talk) 21:33, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nuclear_reaction_Li6-d.png‎ edit

Hi Securiger. This is a nice picture, but please remove the energies of the two outgoing particles. These energies would only be correct if the ingoing particles had no energy at all, but then the reaction would not run. HPaul 17:43, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Café de Paris sauce edit

The content of the article does not match what is said on a web page of Café de Paris. What was your source for this article? Please comment on Talk:Café de Paris sauce. Jesper Carlstrom 12:55, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

About Islescape edit

Thanks for appreciating my language skills! Since I haven't come across much literature on that either, I would suggest a WP:SD for lack of content. --IslesCapeTalk 20:27, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Snug edit

Wow - (could you also do that for the hundreds of other stubs in the tassie project) - that was great - thanks SatuSuro 11:41, 24 March 2008 (UTC) well one every two months would be fine :) - good sources and some excellent insights into the issues - there are so many stubs of one line of locations in tas that need developing - so thanks for that - it sets a good standard of how the stubs could be worked - thanks again SatuSuro 11:53, 24 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image:Linear A tablets filt.jpg edit

Hi Securiger. I've made a variant of the picture commons:Image:Linear A tablets filt.jpg at commons:Image:Linear A tablets filt Number 36.jpg, focusing on the numerals on one of the tablets. This image is used on sv:Grekiska siffror. If you have anything against this, please contact me at sv:Användare:Mankash. // Mankash (talk) 16:17, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

cross-site scripting edit

On talk:cross-site scripting, in regard to the percentage of websites that "do not work" without client-side scripting, you wrote: "The next most common usage would be form validation -- the absence of which you will generally not even notice (especially as all the most common types of data entry errors aren't detected by client side scripts anyway.)" However, a lot of forms that use JavaScript for input validation won't submit at all if the client turns JavaScript off. It would be nice if they did not rely on JavaScript for this purpose. 69.140.152.55 (talk) 05:15, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

C6 Explosive edit

An associate of mine who was in the military mentioned C6 explosive as an alternative explosive to C4. That's where I heard about it. Apparently the gamers you spoke to / read from have met some other military people who told them about it. Paul Robinson (Rfc1394) (talk) 20:18, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
