hi Sean - re CUPE's status as the largest in Canada -- it is the largest and also the largest public sector. What leads you to believe that it is not ? Leftvan 02:35, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Dark Knight edit

Hello, the "Fan Reception" subsection was removed per WP:MOSFILM#Critical reception: Do not include user ratings submitted to websites such as the Internet Movie Database or Rotten Tomatoes, as they are vulnerable to vote stacking and demographic skew. If you look at the user rating at IMDb, it is heavily focused on men between the ages 18-29. This is disproportionate. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 00:40, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are you saying that a more successful artificial manipulation of the user rating for The Dark Knight than for Return of the King or Revenge of the Sith is worth noticing? We do not cite user ratings in any case for any film on Wikipedia. If the user rating exists, they ought to be removed. There are much more stable venues to determine what films possess lasting fame, not to mention that money talks with films' box office performances. There's no point in reporting a highly dynamic rating that is easily manipulated by driven Net-savvy fans. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 00:51, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
By the way, make sure you respond here -- you wrote on my user page with your first comment. :) I moved it to my user talk page. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 00:53, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
