File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Loyolahscrest.png edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Loyolahscrest.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 05:30, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Loyolahscrest.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Loyolahscrest.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude2 (talk) 06:12, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Edit Summary edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Newark Liberty International Airport. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. --JetBlast (talk) 13:23, 26 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits at Logan Airport edit

Apology edit

− Hi. I noticed that you recently made a change to Logan International Airport claiming that JetBlue Airways was going to fly to Houston-Hobby Airport next summer without providing a source. When I went to check, it was invalid. Be sure that before you put up a change, that you a) source any new or controverisal information and b) provide an edit summary. This will ensure that you are actually trying to help, for your work might be mistaken for vandalism, which could get you blocked. Just be careful, for I would hate to have to block a user (don't worry, your nowhere near being blocked :) In fact, you were trying to be helpful.) If you are unsure or cannot find a source for a piece of information you would like to add, go to the article's talk page. Thanks. -Connor (WorldTraveller101 | talk | contribs) 01:25, 27 March 2013 (UTC) + On behalf of myself and the Wikicommunity, we would like to apologize for what you went through. An indefinite block was not fair, nor did I want that. Anyway, we are sorry that the community treated you so unfairly and we hope that you will return, as the community is eager to have you back. Also, the user who reported you (Alex2564) was apparently a sockpuppet of a vicious sockmaster. Anyway, we'd hope that you return. If you do, good luck on your editing. Cheers!   World Traveller101 22:15, 8 May 2013 (UTC) − − Thank you for adding a source. However, we only include no-stop flights to our list. The source is reliable. If I find it bookable, I'll revert my edit. Thanks. -Connor (WorldTraveller101 | talk | contribs) 10:04 pm, 26 March 2013, Tuesday (1 month, 13 days ago) (UTC−4)Reply

Hi. It appears that the "New nonstop service starting soon between:" section does not appear on browsers without Flash installed (including Safari, my normal browser). When I load the page in a browser with Flash installed, that list appears, including the BOS-HOU nonstop service starting in July. Hope that clears up this confusion. (A published source would be better; Google lists a JetBlue blog post announcing the service, but the post seems to have been taken down.) —Alex (ASHill | talk | contribs) 1:20 am, 28 March 2013, Thursday (1 month, 12 days ago) (UTC−4)

− − Hi. Thank you for your helpful contribution. However: Please use good language. Be careful when you say stuff such as I swear I am not bullshitting you. Wikipedia has a strong policy about using appropriate language on Wiki. Thanks. -Connor (WorldTraveller101 | talk | contribs) 6:23 am, 28 March 2013, Thursday (1 month, 11 days ago) (UTC−4)

− − Hi. I also found that you left messages for me. In the future, leave it on my talk page and not my personal info page. Also, please do not call people idiots like you did. That is considered a personal attack and it is "bad language". Thank you for providing a source :) -Connor (WorldTraveller101 | talk | contribs) 4:38 pm, 28 March 2013, Thursday (1 month, 11 days ago) (UTC−4)

Discussion at Administrator Page edit

− Hi. Based on your recent personal attacks and bad language, I decided to bring up a discussion at the Administrator talk page. Please put in your input there. Thanks. -Connor (WorldTraveller101 | talk | contribs) 11:00 am, 29 March 2013, Friday (1 month, 10 days ago) (UTC−4)

− − Absolutely not. This is rediculous. WorldTraveller should have been more conscious before removing my edits TWICE. I don't appreciate it when I take the time to fix a mistake and someone feels compelled to correct me because they feel that everyone else exempt them must be wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.21.73.166 (talk) 11:03 am, 29 March 2013, Friday (1 month, 10 days ago) (UTC−4)

− − Dude, this is has nothing to do with you. You did nothing wrong here, IP User 184.21.73.166 and I have nothing against you or your ways. I reported him because of his language and his personal attacks. I also know that I definitely make mistakes. If you would like to discuss something not regarding this user, please bring it to my talk page, so we don't clog this guy's page. Please share your differences so that we can find a common ground on controversial edits. Wow! Stop! The IP's only contribution is to this talk page. Seanharger, do not tell me this is a sockpuppet. You might be reported on suspicion. Thanks. WorldTraveller101Did I mess up? 3:23 pm, 30 April 2013, Tuesday (8 days ago) (UTC−4)

− − Would you please all relax and drop it. If the best thing you can do with your time is spam my user page, then you have absolutely no life. The problem is that my edit was correct and YOU WERE WRONG WorldTraveler. You had no right to remove my edits because you think that you're some know it all.

Well, then OK. You will also be relaxing, just not by editing Wikipedia. Go enjoy real life, there's a lot to offer and it can be real relaxing. Thanks.   WorldTraveller101Did I mess up? 7:25 am, 1 May 2013, last Wednesday (7 days ago) (UTC−4)

Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts edit

− {{Ivmbox

− |Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Seanharger, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

April 2013 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for sockpuppetry and making personal attacks. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Toddst1 (talk) 4:33 pm, 30 April 2013, Tuesday (8 days ago) (UTC−4)

I'm requesting him to lose talk page access as well, for that is where most of the personal attacks are. Thanks. WorldTraveller101Did I mess up? 8:30 pm, 30 April 2013, Tuesday (8 days ago) (UTC−4)

− −

I would also like to mention that that was probably the lamest sockpuppetry attempt I've ever seen. . Also, that was a pretty lame sockpuppet. Logging out just to advocate is also meatpuppetry (read more about it for more info on it). If you are to be unblocked eventually, you just cannot do this. Thanks.   WorldTraveller101Did I mess up? 8:50 am, 1 May 2013, last Wednesday (7 days ago) (UTC−4)

− − You do know that probably 99 out of 100 get caught, right? Also, what good did those personal attacks do for you? None, right?! Perhaps, if you can convice me and another administrator, we could discuss a definite unblock date. Remember, indefinite does not mean infinite. Thanks.   WorldTraveller101Did I mess up? 10:12 pm, 30 April 2013, Tuesday (8 days ago) (UTC−4)

− −

Hey worldtraveller, perhaps you may like to cut 2 zeros out of your enormously large number to make your point. (right now it looks like less then 1% are caught). And moreover be careful while writing. Your statement "if you can convice me and another administrator" gives the impression that you are also an admin, which you are not. Additionally this user does not have to convince you, he has to only convince an admin. You can only appeal for blocking, once you have done that. Your job is over. Talk page of the blocked user is also blocked only if s/he continues to abuse talk page. This user has not even edited his talk page after he was blocked. --Vigyani (talk) 11:17 pm, 30 April 2013, Tuesday (8 days ago) (UTC−4)

I requested block of talk page access because this is where most of his P.A's occur. In terms of the discussion, I'd likely bring it to ANI and get some admin and non-admin opinion (not now, likely in the next 24-48 hours). Also, the large number is to show that sockpuppettry won't get you anywhere. Thanks.   WorldTraveller101Did I mess up? 5:48 am, 1 May 2013, Wednesday (8 days ago) (UTC−4)

You have definitely not read my suggestion of two zeros. I am not saying that you are using a large number. But 999,999,999,999,999 out of 100,000,000,000,000,000 means less then 1% means 0.99 out of 100 not 99 out of 100.--Vigyani (talk) 6:07 am, 1 May 2013, Wednesday (8 days ago) (UTC−4)

I changed it to 99 out of 100. Thanks.   WorldTraveller101Did I mess up? 6:17 am, 1 May 2013, Wednesday (8 days ago) (UTC−4)
  • This was really poorly done. There is a significant difference between "sockpuppetry" and "accidentally editing user talk page while logged out once". I've unblocked this account and the IP account. Sean, I know you were, to some extent, baited here, but please don't call people "assholes" again. It's sort of unfair this led to a block rather than a note to cool it, but it's still not something you can do with impunity. Anyway, I hope you come back, and sorry for the way this fell out. --Floquenbeam (talk) 12:31 pm, 1 May 2013, last Wednesday (7 days ago) (UTC−4)

Again, welcome back! FourPaws (talk) 00:13, 28 July 2022 (UTC) P.S. I'm sorry about how the people of Wikipedia behaved towards you in 2013. Though your activity has been sparse since 2013 most of the people from 2013 have left, including the people on this page. Wikipedia is different now with different people and I hope you will give us a second chance :) )Reply
