Your username edit

Hi, your username implies a close connection with the subject of your first created article. Please read: this. You can request a rename at WP:CHU/S. Jarkeld (talk) 20:52, 19 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you BigNate37 edit

I posted a question on the help desk regarding the comment about the user name. Then I saw your talk page indicating I should respond on my talk page. Oh, the trials and tribulations of being a newbie. Should I wait until the article is reviewed before I change the user name? I'm still learning the ropes. I found Jarkeld's talk page and sent a message. I'd like to give you some spotlight too. Would you mind if I thanked you on the help desk as well?? Jarkeld edit

Hi, Jarkeld, I recently asked for help on the editors page to try and get feedback on my article so I can get it published. Here is a small segment of the conversation: [10:07] <+ObsidianSoul> star_, ok, let me say it again. You should be editing this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Boca_Raton_public_Libraries [10:08] <+ObsidianSoul> star_, not any other submissions. Only that page. When you resubmit you are actually only adding a new submission template, you do not need to create new pages. [10:09] <star_> yes. I understand. I appreciate all the help you have provided. [10:09] <+ObsidianSoul> star_, you can continue editing that page whenever you like. It is even highly encouraged that you continue improving the draft while awaiting review [10:11] <+ObsidianSoul> star_, when you submit, there is an explanation of the edit. It actually only adds a template at the bottom, it does not blank it. [10:11] <+ObsidianSoul> star_, try to wait until the page has fully loaded before pressing the Save page button

I am sorry to be such as idiot but when I get a rejection there is a link to the submission for revision. So, that is where I make the revisions. Each editor gives me different suggestions.

Thank you for your continued help. Sea Lark (talk) 01:24, 1 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Blocked Account Boca Raton Public Library edit

Hi, Alexf,

Some time ago I addressed your concern and created the Sea Lark Account. The Boca Raton PL account was redirected to Sea Lark by wikipedia. I am the originator (and individual) and I gave full disclosure that I am an employee of the BRPL as was suggested by two editors in the editor review help desk. Please unblock this so I can continue with improving my article per all the editors suggestions. Thank you ````

The account was renamed as per your request. The old account was closed as it is in violation of the username policy. In any case, you cannot have two accounts and use them both except in very special cases and those do not involve username vios. You have a new account that inherited all the editing history from the previous one. You have the password and can edit with this new one. What's the problem? -- Alexf(talk) 00:42, 4 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
