Camilo Villegas edit

Not sure what made the image of Camilo Villegas "dodgy"? I put it back on.

Voting edit

What are you doing deleting one of my votes on the Scouting category renaming? They were not exactly the same. You are never supposed to alter someone's vote. Rlevse 02:02, 19 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • You aren't supposed to vote on each member of a set of nominated categories. If you visited the page more often you would know that. Scranchuse 02:05, 19 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • And you should know not to touch someone else's vote, but to kindly notify them. If you were more active you'd know that. Rlevse 22:08, 19 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

LPGA Table notations edit

I found your deleting of the new table style for tour wins on both the LPGA and PGA Tour pages to be Wikipedia bullying at its worst. This is a collaborative environment. I added a new style and you immediately reverted, claiming it was "superior" and "no one has complalined." What faulty logic is that. If we only changed things here when people complained, what a terrible site this would be! Further, you claimed that User:Golfcam supported you, when he/she just said he liked brackets and indeed suggested pastel colors. I'm sure I could round up 5 or 10 other people who liked the new design. Finally, your command to me to "concede gracefully to avoid wasting more time" was arrogant and disrespectful and suggests that you entered this formatting war in the spirit of a fight. I might suggest to you that you understand that Wikipedia works best when it is cooperative and collaborative and we don't always like what others have done, but we live with them and don't go around reverting every change we see just because we didn't do it or it doesn't meet our fancy. Best regards, Crunch 15:27, 22 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

That was uncalled for and carries no weight. I was simply helping to return things to normal after your random changes. You don't own that article. User:Golfcam suggested pastel backgrounds, not pastel text. You are the one with a problem as you seem to thing that your edits are more valuable than anyone else's and must not be touched. You ignored the way things are done in the golf articles and now you are mad because you weren't successful in unilaterally changing the standard format. Scranchuse 15:15, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
Wow, you have no understanding of how Wikipedia works. Nobody owns the article. Not me, not you. I made a change and you reverted it immediately because you didn't care for it. There is no "how things are done" and no "standard format" but there is a standard of letting people present their ideas and not reverting thigns instantly because you don't like it. I really do invite you to become more familiar with Wikipedia before you stomp all over articles with your self-righteousness. But I see from the history of comments here, some of which you have deleted (but are visible in the history) that your short history on Wikipedia is full of this. Crunch 20:20, 28 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
You are the self-righteous one and you act like you own LPGA. There is a standard format because all the others are the same. You changed things unilaterally showing complete contemot for consensys. You seem to have no respect for other users. Scranchuse 17:35, 12 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
