David McGill

The article David McGill has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Speedy deletion of Triumphant Quartet

A tag has been placed on Triumphant Quartet requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Unsourced sub-stub BLP that has been here for four and a half years without any sources. There are two Jody Medfords who are more notable than this one (a sportsman and an actor). No significant coverage found at all, although he was described as "one of the top three entertainers in Pigeon Forge (population c.5000) in 2001", which is surely an indication of a lack of notability.
