I translated the page from the Hebrew Wikipedia, although re-reading it, I misinterpreted the South Africa bit (it merely says he immigrated to Israel from South Africa, so I have correct the article based on your source, which I think is fine).

As for the birth date, this was added to the Hebrew article by he:משתמש:אבינעם, and I have asked them if they can remember where they got the info. Cheers, Number 57 09:30, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
