Scarlet Lioness's Talk Page

Welcome and thank you! edit

Thank you so much for all your edits on my article The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen timeline! I mean, not to say that it's my article, I mean, I did research and write it, but it belongs to Wikipedia and I guess the world now, but I'm sort of excited because it's the first article I've written for Wikipedia so far. So - from my POV - you're like the first person who's looked at it thus far and I just wanted to say "Hi."

(Takes a very deep, slow breaths). I'm new here too. I look forward to working with you on future articles. --Khat Wordsmith 03:14, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, this Talk system is confusing edit

Yeah, this talk system is confusing... didn't I just... anyway: Yeah, it took me a while to work up the nerve to put up that article. I was really nervous people would just think I was trying to be a know-it-all newbie or something. But it's nice to talk to another newbie Wikipedian. I'm still trying to figure out the template stuff to make my user page... I'll get around to it eventually. Did you see that they're starting a New Traveller's Almanac on the LOEG page? I'm thinking of contributing to that as well. We should so complete that baby and fix up the organization of that page in general: it's awful. --Khat Wordsmith 06:37, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome! edit

Hi! I see you're well on your way and getting into the hang of things already, but it here's a welcome anyway; be bold and happy editing! --AySz88^-^ 03:54, 17 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Baptism of Jesus article edit

Hi,

I've made some edits to the Baptism of Jesus article -- some shallow, some deeper. I'd like to get consensus on them.

Thanks, --jrcagle 02:09, 26 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

A Little Late, But Thanks! edit

I've been without computer access for awhile, so I couldn't get to this for some time. I just wanted to drop a note of thank for confirming the Barbara G. Walker book on that author page! Elizabeth

Question about Edward Eager's novels edit

Hi!

I' ve noticed that You edited "Khalid Armand" article, sometime before, so I thought that you mamy know something about Edward Eager's novels. Maybe you can tell me something about "Rainy Streets" chronicles characters Alexiel & Rosiel. I'm wondering if they are linked with Kaori Yuki's "Angel Sanctuary" manga/anime characters.

I'm sorry to bother you with my problem, but it is almost impossible to get this title, here, in Poland, since there is no polish translation of it. Also, there isn't much info over net.

Thanks in advance... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Helward (talkcontribs) 19:20, 2 February 2007 (UTC).Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
