You rely on a single scale for everything and your temp comparison is wp:or. The US government calls Everglades National Park, which is further south the "only subtropical preserve in North america" [1]. I will go with their assessment over your wp:or analysis.

• • Are you aware that the Koppen Scale isn't the only scale in existence? Other methods have revised it. To get to your definition, you have to do the math and it barely makes this avg. But that is wp:OR. I am providing a NPOV source, the NOAA, who knows more about the climate than you and I combined, and they state, very plainly, subtropical. Also, if you look at the article on subtropical, you will see examples of 2 revisions of the Koppen scale, a map that shows Ft. Myers would be subtropical and the use of FL as an example of subtropical. Can you provide a NPOV source more reliable than NOAA that SAYS tropical (not requiring wp:or to arrive at a conclusion)? • When I said a source, I meant one that could be used as a reliable one. I can give you literally dozens of travel websites etc. that say subtropical. I've lived here for almost 30 years and listened to our meteorologists call it subtropical. Wonder why they think that? Do you think maybe because NOAA thinks so too? And I looked, the temps shown in article do not match the source for a few months. Usually only 1-2 degrees off and I haven't bothered to do the math, but IIRC you said it was 18.1 and the standard was above 18 didn't you? Niteshift36 (talk) 00:49, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Please stop changing the information in the climate section; Miami is not in a "tropical monsoon" climate zone, and there is consensus for the current wording with the given reference. If you would like to make a change, propose it on the talk page as opposed to edit warring.
