A tag has been placed on Sons Of Savages MC requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. SpeedyAstro (talk)

December 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Dennis Bratland. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to List of motorcycle clubs because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Dennis Bratland (talk) 18:04, 5 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to List of motorcycle clubs. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Sons Of Savages MC edit

The article Sons Of Savages MC has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Recreation of Son Of Savages MC New Zealand and Son Of Savages MC New Zealand and world wide

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Dennis Bratland (talk) 18:07, 5 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Whoah! edit

Hi Alex, I see that you're having some trouble getting the Sons of Savages article off the ground. There's a group on Wikipedia that can help you: the folks at WikiProject Motorcycling. I happen to be one of them, and I'm extending a welcome on the behalf of the group. I've created a discussion area here (<-- click that link) where you can come and talk about how we can help you create the article. If the group has been covered in the press (television, radio, print, books, virtually anything other than blogs), we almost certainly can get this going together. Welcome, and thanks! — Brianhe (talk) 20:27, 5 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
