Re: QuestionHi there. An image in Commons is always "mirrored" into every Wikipedia, at the same image name. In example, in Commons the image commons:Image:Cristina Scabbia.jpg is mirrored here at Image:Cristina Scabbia.jpg. You don't need to download it from Commons and reupload it at Wikipedia. In the case of Image:LeeSooYoung.jpg, I think what we should do is orphan it with {{or-fu-re}}, pointing to the image in commons as replacement, and once an administrator deletes the fair use image, the free one will take its place. -- ReyBrujo 22:00, 3 April 2007 (UTC) Signpost updated for April 2nd, 2007.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. I have heard that you can't take pictures of Japanese artists in recitals, because of these personality rights. However, both Amuro's and Hamasaki's images have been taken outside Japan, limiting the scope. Utada's image was put for deletion at Wikimedia Commons, and it was determined that the image was free, regardless of existing personality rights. Please check commons:Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Utada Hikaru Kanto 2004.jpg, it was an interesting discussion. We accept CC-BY (Attribution) and CC-BY-SA (Attribution ShareAlike). If the image says "All right reserved" or is CC-NC-SA (ShareAlike Non Commercial) it is not compatible with Wikipedia. What you can do is go to Wikimedia Commons and upload it there directly, because if you upload it here it is likely to need to be moved there in the future. Remember to leave a comment in the image stating you have found the image and uploaded to Wikipedia (with a link to the image page so that he can check the credits is correctly given). There is a bot in Commons that uploads images from Flickr, but only users with edits and some days old in Commons can use it, as far as I know.
