Admin template edit

Please do not use the administrator help request unless you need help that only a sysop can offer and for urgent matters. You're seeking article advice in which any editor can help you and the use of talk pages and places like WP:TEAHOUSE are suitable to ask common editing help questions. There are also numerous other help areas for newcomers such as WP:HELP. Thank you, Mkdwtalk 21:00, 15 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you :) Sarah1971 21:33, 15 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

for your equanimity under the sustained admin non collaboration. Duckduckstop (talk) 17:42, 16 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
you are correct, this is a bitey place. it's the Michels’ Iron law of oligarchy, maybe not 99%, after all 10% women. public art and graffiti street art is problematic for Wikipedia, since the bias is against fine arts and living people. hard to confirm copyright permission through the wp:OTRS system. wikiproject graffiti is inactive for this reason. you might want to contact Wikimedia UK irl ; or wp:GLAM where common sense tends to prevail. Duckduckstop Thanks very much REALLY, great links but your to late as I'm leaving this dark wikiworld, well as this user anyhow. At the moment many users think I'm a sockpuppet? I'm still not sure what that is but due to this label all my work & my subjects work has been attacked by certain spiteful users. I feel sorry for my subject as my label has really hurt their pages, I have even sent my subject an email to say sorry, my mum brought me up to stand up. Yes it is a bitey place but what I don't get is these users are spending hours/days of their very precious short life to try & ruin mine & my subjects work. They take this volunteer roll to personal? I thought users was on here to add to & make great pages, doing something good & worthwhile, not rip them to shreds because a person they don't know has a label. This place would be great if there was more like you & the other few users that have tried to help me. When this sockpuppet case has finished I will retire this account & make a new one to get of the radar of these horrible people, their mums must be so proud of them.

Heres a copy of the email I got back from Darren Cullen.

Dear Sarah & thanks for getting in touch about what is happening.

Do not worry about this Sarah I really don't mind. To be honest I wish the Wikipedia page wasn't online due to the arrest in 2012, not a good advert. All charges towards me was dropped by the way but you wont find this info to be added to Wikipedia.

OK I'm harping on a bit here but don't lose any sleep over this, I'm not, & yes send me your interview questions, that's fine.

Darren.

So that was that & in the mean time before I leave Id still like to put the work back to good, its the least I can do. Is there a page/bunch of users that will help build a page? I ask only because my work will not last. Thanks again. Sarah1971 19:08, 16 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

yes, you noticed that the username is mainly useful for admins to hound people. keep in mind with the wikiPR incident, they think every article about a living person is for money. hence the sockpuppet name calling. changing your name might be socking, unless you wait 6 months for the wp:fresh start. go to some WMUK meetups, wikipedians are nicer in person.
i thought the pre-crime was a "street cred" plus. certainly here at this libertarian paradise. it's just they'd rather he was a open software scoflaw like Aaron Swartz, than mere street artist. it's the wp:systemic bias. Duckduckstop (talk) 20:19, 16 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yes I was thinking the same thing about the "street cred". Thanks for advice Duck :) really. Duckduckstop Sarah1971 03:21, 17 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
