Christian Shepherd edit

I posted on the Discussion page. Not sure how to proceed. The fact is, that while the show creators were absolute in Locke being restored, they are being cryptical about Christian, IMHO on purpose because we are not really SUPPOSED to know, and as such, I realize I am going to have a hard time getting something direct that shows Christian to be truely alive.

But I got to laugh at the following statement you made on the discussion page as well though...."Well if he is discovered to be alive on the Island in season 5, then it should be added at that point. Sanders11 (talk) 12:22, 25 November 2008 (UTC)"

At what point would we be able to say he is alive again without them saying it? If he makes some sort of appearance that is seen by more then just Jack, Locke, and Claire (all three of whom well.....it could be something else). I imagine if something were to happen where more people are with Christian Shepherd and know he is there, then we will have final confirmation. Whippletheduck (talk) 04:24, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ana Lucia edit

Hey, nice job with the article. It looks really nice, and it's a real improvement from what it originally was. Actually, I think I might review the article. :-) Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 10:13, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

GA Shannon. edit

Hi, I noticed you posted that Shannon Rutherford's article is up for GA nomination. I have never worked on promoting an article to any type of "status", but I have joined the Lost article for many reasons, and one is to help promote the articles here on Wikipedia. If there's anything I can do to help you or anyone else, please let my know and I'll help immediately. Thank you. --HELLØ ŦHERE 21:12, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re edit

You're welcome, and well done with the character articles, they're looking really good. By the way, I have been working on Danielle Rousseau, and it is almost GA status. Unfortunately, I have hit a stump and cannot find more info for the "development" and "reception" sections. I was hoping for a bit of info about why she was created, what the writers intended to do with the character; early things about development. Also, the reception section is only about her death, and even those reviews do not provide much. I was hoping for stuff about her early appearances, but alas I could not find any. Could you give the article a go, or are you trying to focus on the main characters? Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 00:50, 23 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nice work on the article. The interview would have been great, but I don't think it can really be used (copyright issues). The article is at a good length now, do you thinks it's ready for a GA nom? Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 06:20, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hey, nice work! The development and reception sections have really been bulked up. I think it's fine now. :) I removed a couple of reviews (mainly ones I added from the "MKJ" article) because they didn't really add to the character's reception. They were just like, "I liked Rousseau, shame she died". They were just filler, so I kept the good ones. Personality sections are a waste of time, IMO, and border on POV. I don't think they're necessary. Do you know which podcast that one is? A number would be great. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 09:08, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I found the podcast! :) Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 11:07, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I nominated the article; thanks for all your help. :) I'm pretty sure the age thing is not true, but I'll keep on checking for sources. I haven't been able to find a better source for the casting of Young Rousseau, but I'm hoping one turns up by the time the article is reviewed. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 13:36, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh yes, I can't believe I forgot, Merry Christmas to you too! And the arc section is at a good length, but you can trim it if you like. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 13:44, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I just realized that the ref I included didn't include the quote. I assumed the ref had a link to the podcast, my bad! :S I found the Lostpedia transcript for the podcast, here. What do you think about adding it? Sure, it's not considered to be a reliable source, but I think an uncontroversial thing like this is alright. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 05:36, 26 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Passed! Good luck on Tom (Lost), and I might start working on another character soon, probably either Juliet, Sun or Claire. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 03:53, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just saw Michael Dawson (Lost), and nice job! I really should start working on another character; can't let you hog all the fun. ;) Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 15:06, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks; the Friends article took me a while to finish, but now that it's done I'm happy with the result. I'll probably start working on Alex (Lost) next; as you mentioned dead/recurring characters are a lot easier than alive/main characters because there's much less to write. Also, you don't have to update their arc summaries every few episodes. Maybe we could focus on getting all the recurring characters to GA? Rose Henderson is practically a GA already, and we could probably use some of her info for Bernard Nadler. Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 02:00, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
While it's a good idea, I think the merge would make the arc section a bit too hard to write. Unlike N&P, Rose and Bernard were seperated for most of the show. I say we keep them seperate for now, and only merge them if there is absolutely nothing out there on Bernard, which I doubt. Also, when are you going to nom Rose? I think the article is ready. :) Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 04:52, 23 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, Rose's surname is a bit ambiguous. If you have that particular magazine, you can use Template:Cite journal to cite it, but I think an online ref would be better for this instance. Since I live in Australia (where the episodes air a while later), I want to avoid spoilers, meaning I will not edit Lost articles as prominently anymore (though I may keep working on the character articles). Something you deserve edit

Hey, no fair; I wanted to give you one first! :( Anyways, it is indeed well deserved, and expect another one once you get a couple more character GAs. :D Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 00:51, 8 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I noticed on your to-do list you wanted to create a Charles Widmore article. Someone else apparently did, I helped out a bit, but the article needs work, and I'm not the right person to do that; maybe you are? Just notifying you.--Music26/11 21:00, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Charlotte Lewis (Lost) edit

Hey, I've reviewed your GAN for Charlotte Lewis (Lost). Nice job, I doubt my suggestions will take long to address. I hope to bring this kind of quality to the South Park character articles some time, after we get through the featured topic drive. Let me know when you've gotten to the suggestions and I'm sure it'll be a pass very soon! — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 17:25, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have put some questions on the GA page, also, I am on vacation and soon, I will be in a place with no wi-fi so if possible, when I am leaving the place with wi-fi, please get it on hold until 3 days after finished. ~~EBE123~~ talkContribs 23:50, 28 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Leona Lewis discography edit

I can't nominate for DYK then.  — AARONTALK 17:17, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Seems a bit of a cheat way to get a DYK? Sanders11 (talk) 21:16, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
How is it a cheat way? It's a shit lead and is a god way for attention to be bought to the article.  — AARONTALK 22:39, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
It just seems like the equivalent making a GA worse so it gets delisted then modifying it so you can renominate it as your own. DYK is there to highlight new articles created and expansion of stubs rather than deliberately shortening an article just so you can claim you expanded it five times. Why not just expand actual stubs and new articles? Sanders11 (talk) 18:26, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
No it's not, that's completely different. The lead needs to be rewritten anyway, I don't see the problem with removing it and the rewriting it so it can qualify for DYK to raise awareness of it on the main page.  — AARONTALK 19:16, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
