Speedy deletion nomination of Elfpack

Hello Sammiecoppick,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Elfpack for deletion, because it seems to be an promotion, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

Hi Sammiecoppick,

Unfortunately the user INeverCry was the one who decided to delete the page and you would have to talk to him or her about reinstating your article. In general, the best way to start an article would be to prepare it in your sandbox until it is ready and meets Wikipedia's notability requirements. After it is done, you would then create a new article and move the content over into the actual article. Furthermore, it doesn't seem that you contested the nomination for the deletion which would be done by following the "contest" link in the message you got earlier. Because no one contested it, the user INeverCry deleted it. I'm sorry that happened and please don't take this personally. If you feel that it should be reinstated, please leave a message on INeverCry's talk page and explain the situation and show how you can make the article better. Good luck!

Notability

Sorry to leave you another message. The place to check notability requirements in this case is at Wikipedia:Notability (web). Based off of this, Elftown actually does not meet the notability requiments either and may be in danger of deletion. Don't worry, I'm not going to nominate it for deletion. I would suggest working to estalbish notability for Elftown and perhaps making a section called Elfpack (if they are cloesly related) until it can be it's own article. Another option is to add Elfpack to List of Internet phenomena. Again, don't take any of this personally. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Good luck!
