UK Barnstar edit

Looks good to me. Can you add it to the commons on commons:Barnstar/Barnstars of National Merit and the related categories? Just a suggestion -- Chris 73 | Talk 12:53, 17 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Chosen Space edit

A tag has been placed on Chosen Space, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

not notable

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. GazMan7 16:56, 23 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Castle (animation) edit

I deleted that page because it didn't assert any sort of notability. If you can find some reliable sources that prove notability, you could recreate it and use them, though I find it highly unlikely that you could (a quick google search for "Oscar Johansson" castle shows only 400 results). Veinor (talk to me) 16:50, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Castle (animation) edit

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Castle (animation), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -Panser Born- (talk) 16:54, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your RfA edit

Hello Sam 1123. I hope you'll take this the right way, but I strongly suggest you withdraw your RfA. I would be utterly astonished if you receive more than a few "moral support" type votes. When you come back to RfA ready for it in a few months, it will, in my opinion, look better for you that you chose to end the RfA yourself and everyone will happily chalk it up to your inexperience round here. Yours kindly, --Dweller 09:44, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Acrassicauda edit

A tag has been placed on Acrassicauda, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 99DBSIMLR 16:48, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MfD nomination of Portal:Explosives edit

Portal:Explosives, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Portal:Explosives and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Portal:Explosives during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Proposed deletion of File:VC Barnstar.png edit

The file File:VC Barnstar.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 18 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
