License tagging for File:2011 Orbita Bicycles Catalog.pdf edit

Thanks for uploading File:2011 Orbita Bicycles Catalog.pdf. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:06, 19 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

January 2013 edit

Hello, I'm MrX. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Órbita Bicycles, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - MrX 19:49, 19 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Resources and advice edit

Here are some links to help pages about how to identify reliable sources and how to cite them in articles. WP:RS and WP:CITE

I strongly recommend that you remove all of the promotional information from your user page, as it is against Wikipedia policies and will likely result in your account being blocked. See WP:COI, WP:UP, WP:SPA and WP:NOTADVERTISING.

Also, it looks like you have tried to put link bait on your user page, perhaps as part of a search engine optimization program. I apologize if that's not the case. You should be aware that it will not work since the MediaWiki software adds nofollow attributes to all external links, causing search engines to utterly ignore them. See Nofollow. Best wishes. - MrX 22:04, 19 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:2011 Orbita Bicycles Catalog.pdf edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:2011 Orbita Bicycles Catalog.pdf. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 00:22, 20 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:2013 Órbita Bicycles Catalog.pdf) edit

Thanks for uploading File:2013 Órbita Bicycles Catalog.pdf. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:20, 20 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Órbita Bicycles. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. You should also remove the spam links from your user page (as I have previously suggested). Wikipedia is not a place for promoting businesses, and persisting in doing so may result in you being blocked from editing. - MrX 20:48, 24 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Órbita Bicycles edit

The article Órbita Bicycles has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The company lacks notability as evidenced by lack of coverage by third party sources. Fails WP:ORGDEPTH. Searched Google News, Google Books, Newsbank, Credo, Questia and Highbeam.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - MrX 10:51, 10 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:SamNos edit

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on User:SamNos, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:00, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

This page should not be speedy deleted because... edit

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (there is a description of an almost half a century successful product that is not known by many people, speacially when it had even other wikipedia reference; this wiki was not violating any rights; please review your deeds. Regards;) --Nosimo (talk) 12:26, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
