I never receive emails when my watchlist is updated, even though I have all the approprite boxes checked in my preferences. Is this normal? SaladGoat (talk) 05:30, 29 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi SaladGoat. To my knowledge, Wikipedia will only use your email address for the purpose of retrieving lost passwords. Your watch-list is something you'll need to check from time to time, manually. - WikHead (talk) 15:07, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
In My Preferences, at the bottom, under E-mail Options, I checked the box that says "E-mail me when a page on my watchlist is changed". I just thought that meant that Wikipedia would send me an email when a page on my watchlist was changed. Am I wrong? SaladGoat (talk) 08:39, 1 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh, pardon me SaladGoat... I wasn't even aware that such an option existed when I wrote my first reply. Sorry I'm unable to be of any further assistance. - WikHead (talk) 17:25, 4 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
