I didn't want to edit your user page uninvited, but I wanted to let you know there is no such place as Upper Ramsbottom, at least there isn't such a place name anywhere near Ramsbottom Lancashire. --ericthefish 15:40, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Maybe you'd like to know that "Ecce Homo" means "Behold the man!" in Latin. "Homo" in Latin has nothing to do with homosexuality (that "homo" is Greek, not Latin). --Maribert (talk) 15:59, 23 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Tittmoning is not in Austria, but in Bavaria, Germany. And actually even strait over the border from Fucking.

Just the names of some of the towns in my home state of PA could fill up the page ( Panic, Coupon, Intercourse, California, Oklahoma, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Moon ) you get the idea =-) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.145.42.157 (talk) 01:34, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

You forgot King of Prussia and Slippery Rock, both in PA.Too Old (talk) 06:04, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

There are at least 4 roads named Skunk's Misery Road in the USA. Two in New York: in the upscale Long Island town of Locust Valley and in the town of Millerton. One each in Vermont and Massachusetts.

Many years ago I heard that there was previously something very smelly (I forget what) in the vicinity of Locust Valley before it became so posh.

The State of Minnesota has Effie and Margie (apparently named after the original residents) and Waskish and Saum (you'll miss it if you blink). Too Old (talk) 06:04, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Old Wives Lake edit

Interesting list you have. Have you thought about adding Old Wives Lake in Saskatchewan? Masterhatch (talk) 14:18, 4 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
