February 2014 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ali, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for February 17 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tehrik-e-Jafaria, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jundullah (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ali edit

You have several times tried to change the image that appears on the infobox on the Ali article. Clearly, this image is a source of controversy for you. Rather than continuing to remove the content (which is considered WP:Edit warring, and is forbidden), instead, open a discussion at Talk:Ali and explain your problem with the image so that other editors can come to a consensus on the issue. Speedy deletion nomination of SK Media Group edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on SK Media Group requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 22:40, 18 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of SK Media Group edit

Hello S.M.A.A.R,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged SK Media Group for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Shovon (talk) 09:52, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with SK Media Group. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Moved to userspace edit

I've moved the article to your userspace at User:S.M.A.A.R/SK Media Group, so you can work on showing notability. The problem is that while the channel does seem to exist, existing does not give automatic notability. You must show how the channel is notable by showing that it has received coverage in reliable sources such as newspapers that are not released by the channel. (These sources do not have to be in English.) WP:RS states that reliable sources must be secondary and in places we consider to be reliable, meaning that you cannot use WP:PRIMARY sources. You must absolutely show that this channel passes notability guidelines (WP:GNG) before trying to re-create the article in the mainspace. If you try to recreate it without establishing notability then the article will get deleted.

On a side note, I am concerned that your name might be the name or initials of a company involved with the channel. If so, please look over WP:COI, our conflict of interest policy. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:20, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:35, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Ogress. I noticed that you removed topically-relevant content from Ali. However, Wikipedia is not censored to remove content that might be considered objectionable. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide images that you may find offensive. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Edit warring will get you banned. Ogress smash! 09:00, 22 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you.   Tentinator   17:30, 23 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
