I have no cited three articles from three reputable publications, all of which show that there are concerns expressed across wide sectors of the clergy and academic circles about the appropriateness of their inclusion. Красная ленточка как символ борьбы со СПИДом и как символ борьбы с алкоголизмом - одна и та же статья. Так почему же у черно-оранжевой ленточки должно быть несколько статей, если во всех своих ипостасях она применяется одинаково - как военный символ? Hey, I actually wanted to talk with you about the edits. You do bring a lot of good information, but the problem is that the text you write becomes a bit bloated; I do not think the terminology section should document every single legal document in Russian military history. I am not trying to remove the information you bring; I am just adapting it to a more easily readable format. For example, the last sentence you added - Non-military awards, such as the Guards Naval flag and the navy cap tallies worn by Soviet Navy servicemen were referenced in official texts as the Guards ribbon - had the same overall meaning as the first clause of the previous sentence - Formally, the black-orange ribbon from the uniforms of Guards units was called the Guards ribbon, with the only additional information being the specific elements of Guards uniforms which bore the ribbon. I kept that information, as well as the references you brought, but I added it to the original sentence, so as not to make the paragraph too bloated.
