I see you used an ibid citation on Henry Bishop (postmaster general)‎ but it is highly discouraged because they can easily cause problems when an intervening citation is added. Have a look at WP:IBID. You should give you first reference a name and then use the name reference tag alone which amalgamates all the instances of the same reference together in the reference section, such as this one. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 15:27, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sir Cecil Bisshopp, 10th baronet

edit

The article Sir Cecil Bisshopp, 10th baronet has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Did he do anything to render himself notable per WP:NOTABILITY? I see no evidence

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have removed a PROD from this article, because PRODs are intended for uncontroversial deletions, so once a PROD has been removed it may not be replaced; however the article may still be nominated at WP:Articles for deletion, which would start a debate lasting seven days to which you would be welcome to contribute. Please be aware of WP:NOTDIRECTORY #2 Genealogical entries. Wikipedia's basic inclusion criterion is called WP:Notability, and the test is whether there is "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject," see also WP:Notability (people) and WP:Notability (summary).
