Proposed deletion of Peter Spellos edit

The article Peter Spellos has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Insufficient notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Re: Dino Fury characters edit

I apologize but, like I said in my edit summary, I purposefully left out the fly Sporix Beast because there's basically nothing on them right now. We don't even have a voice actor yet. If they return like Doomsnake did and we get confirmation of a voice actor, then I will purposefully re-add the fly Sporix Beast myself. Blazewing16 (talk) 01:06, 16 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Copying licensed material requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Races and factions of Warcraft into Warcraft. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted copied template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you.

I repaired the attribution and placed Copied templates (diff 1, diff 2). You were informed of this requirement in 2020 and 2016.

Your expansion of Chimera in popular culture seems to include copying from https://riordan.fandom.com/wiki/Chimera in the Percy Jackson item. Please confirm. I believe that its license is compatible, but it must be attributed, such as with Fandom content. Relevant guidance is in WP:Plagiarism#Copying material from free sources (shortcut WP:FREECOPY). You were informed of this requirement in 2020 and 2016 and blocked in 2015.

A Loud House Christmas edit

Is that draft ready be turned into an article? Cwater1 (talk) 06:15, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my reply to @Cwater1. Sorry I am late with this response. I have been waiting for a response from Magitroopa to see if this is the right time to submit the draft for A Loud House Christmas for approval. If you would like to make sure everything is present and submit the draft, go right ahead and do the job. If this draft is submitted, I will also keep an eye on it to see if it got accepted or not. If it doesn't get accepted, then the reason for it must be fulfilled before it can be submitted again. I'm just giving you my piece of advice on it should you go ahead with the submission. Unintentional deletion of content at ANI edit

In this edit at WP:ANI, did you really intend to remove 37kb of content, sprinkled throughout the page? Mathglot (talk) 22:10, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my reply to you @Mathglot. I don't know how that happened as I only gave my you're welcome response to Flatscan. It must've been a glitch or something because I don't recall touching any of those discussions. Rtkat3 (talk) 22:14, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
No worries, I figured it was something like that; glitches happen. I reverted your edit, so if you want to keep your response to Flatscan, you will have to enter it again. Mathglot (talk) 22:15, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
The reply has been re-added to the section @Mathglot. I'm just letting you know that. Rtkat3 (talk) 22:19, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) Thanks. Just fyi: one way that can happen, especially on a fast moving page like WP:ANI, is if you are viewing the page for a while, then go off and have a cup of coffee, and then come back and edit the page, make your reply, and hit "Publish" without Previewing first. The problem is, the page moves so fast sometimes, that ten more responses could have come in all over the page while you were having coffee, that weren't there when you first viewed it. They weren't there yet, when you first loaded the page, so you can't see them. If you simply edit your pre-coffee view of the page, you're now editing an old version, and you will blow away all the changes made since then when you hit Publish. So, don't do that; instead, after coffee, refresh the page before you edit the section you want to respond to. Even better: compose your response off-line, until it looks just right; *then* refresh the ANI page, and then edit the section, and quickly paste in your text, and hit Preview, and then Publish if all looks good and there's no conflict. Even then, an WP:Edit conflict is possible, but if you follow that link, it will tell you how to deal with it. Hope this helps.
By the way, in a bit of coincidence, I just now got an WP:Edit conflict myself, because while I was composing this response, you snuck in faster, and added your comment of 22:19. I went through the edit conflict resolution, to get this comment in. That's what that little label at the beginning of my response is about, and you can click it for more info. Cheers, Mathglot (talk) 22:25, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Well @Mathglot, I didn't get the edit conflict notification that time. Rtkat3 (talk) 22:27, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Back to that ANI again: I think you are possibly getting some bad advice at WP:ANI#Rtkat3 close paraphrasing from Fandom without attribution, in particular where you're being told not to copy from Fandom. Afaict, you can copy all you want from Fandom, even word for word, even long sections of articles there (as long as the result meets Wikipedia policies like WP:Verifiability, i.e., it has proper referencing and so on). You just have to satisfy their Terms of Use, which is the same as ours as far as copying content because they use the same CC BY SA 3.0 license, and so requires proper attribution in the edit summary as described at WP:CWW. That page doesn't do a very good job explaining how to write an attribution statement for Fandom, and imho you could do something like this in the edit summary:

Copied content from Fandom DC Database at wikia:dc:Amparo_(New_Earth); see that page's history for attribution.

and when you Preview or Publish the page, the summary will come out like this:

Copied content from Fandom DC Database at wikia:dc:Amparo_(New_Earth); see that page's history for attribution.

which meets the recommendation for their Terms of Use, imho. I'm just one editor, so you should follow the discussion and see who else weighs in, but I just wanted to alert you to the fact that imho you're not doing anything wrong in copying content from Fandom; you just have to make sure that you include the proper attribution statement in your Edit summary. Mathglot (talk) 08:05, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Noting for future reference that DanCherek pointed out at AN/I that this method does not fulfill Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Where to place attribution (guideline). Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Compatibly licensed sources is also relevant. Flatscan (talk) 04:53, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Plagiarism is not the policy; Terms of Use is. And Fandom has the exact same license as Wikipedia (CC BY SA 3.0) so they are compatible. See details at the AN/I. Mathglot (talk) 06:34, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
This is my reply to @Mathglot. I am thanking you for the advice you gave me and replying to Flatscan's comment here which you also mentioned on the other page. Rtkat3 (talk) 02:30, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed split of List of One Piece characters edit

Based on your previous input on the talk page, I just submitted a Proposal for restructuring the List of One Piece characters page. Check it out! --Plumber (talk) 02:13, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my reply to @Plumber. I was able to check out your suggestion for the restructuring to the List of One Piece characters and I agree with your suggestions where I had left my own reply there. While I have noted that some notable sources are going to be needed to warrant their own pages as mentioned by the first editor to reply to it, we would be able to pull it off. For the characters by location, some locations are missing from that section like Drum Island where Wapol was said to have formerly ruled. For each of the characters who have Devil Fruit powers, we will have to list their Devil Fruits. As for the SMILE fruits, the named ones are just listed as [Insert animal name here] SMILE. Again, I am in support of your suggestions. Thanks for letting me know about this proposal. Rtkat3 (talk) 02:35, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Of course, happy to be of service. As long as we are on the topic of One Piece article, a user proposed the Red-Haired Shanks article for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Red-Haired_Shanks. Feel free to make your opinion known on the vote there. --Plumber (talk) 20:39, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have left my opinion on the Article for deletion discussion that you brought to my attention and left some additional comments there. As someone mentioned on the other talk page, it will take a bunch of reliable sources to help maintain a page even if the more recurring characters get their pages restored. Right? List of recurring The Simpsons characters edit edit

In response to your edit summary regarding "Do you have proof of the claims I just removed?" Proof is listed in the text, and if you've watched the show and have seen the past appearances, the characterization is different and it has been shown consistently the character is different even in non speaking cameos then what was done recently, like with a ton of other recent retcons. I've also listed proof as to why both episodes are non canon as well. Here are sources in regards to canonicy of these episodes and the inconsistent continuity of the character recently in the 2 episodes: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

for inconsistent continuity, scroll down to her name on the page. 2600:1700:CBD0:2040:A42F:89E0:C984:C476 (talk) 02:52, 29 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sonic characters edit

I seen your post in the talk page at List of Sonic the Hedgehog characters, and I was wondering what do you think of my draft for Amy Rose? I've been meaning to split her back into her own article, but unfortunately, in the last discussion, I couldn't get anyone to agree with me. That said, I have since made improvements and found more sources for her. MoonJet (talk) 10:39, 19 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

That draft looks good. Perhaps for the List of Sonic the Hedgehog characters page, you might be able to also find useful references to re-add the Guardian Unit of Nations (or G.U.N. for short) since they left a redirect to the character page with no information about it. Rtkat3 (talk) 15:26, 19 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'll have to see about that. But right now, I'm more focused on getting more characters split. I also want to try and get Metal Sonic his own article.
As for Amy Rose, do you feel I've addressed most of the concerns brought up in that discussion? MoonJet (talk) 18:54, 19 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
This is my reply to @MoonJet. It looks like you addressed as much as you could about Amy Rose. The more recurring characters should get their articles split. If I recall correctly, I might've mentioned something on the List of Sonic the Hedgehog characters talk page about finding a way to mention the characters that appeared in the movie like Longclaw and the movie-exclusive members of G.U.N. July 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Centcom08. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Centcom08 (talk) 14:28, 4 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ms. Marvel (TV series), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Centcom08 (talk) 23:26, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my reply to @Centcom08. When it comes to the Souls of the Damned in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the credits are the only source I can find of the other voice actors. If you would like to find a worthy source for the other voice actors to help out the page, be my guest. As for Ms. Marvel, the voice overs in today's episode as well as Hasan's description should be worth mentioning. Someone will most likely re-add the additions when they find a source. Rtkat3 (talk) 23:33, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Rtkat3 I hope editors can find reliable sources with those reverts I made with your edits since I can't find them either on my end. My suggestion here (I understand your feelings about the information worth adding) is you can start a discussion on an article's talk page so that other editors can also search for a source. If other editors agree that the information exists yet we can't find a source then that is the time we can use a [citation needed] template. Centcom08 (talk) 23:38, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
This is my reply to @Centcom08. What you just proposed should be what we use for both those pages. Rtkat3 (talk) 23:43, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Improper usage of grammar. edit

If you struggle to properly translate and/or rewrite biographies, then please refrain from editing articles. The entire biography section of Erik Kilmonger is nearly incomprehensible, riddled with fragments and running sentences. 74.196.72.185 (talk) 07:30, 24 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Spider-Man (Takuya Yamashiro)-related edit

Can you add some information of Spider-Man (Takuya Yamashiro) please? Blackknight1234567890 (talk) 09:08, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my reply to @Blackknight1234567890. What type of information would you want added to that page? You have to be specific about the information in question. Rtkat3 (talk) 00:19, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my reply to @Blackknight1234567890. I'm already seeing a biography and "Spider-Verse" appearance. Do you want me to look for any "Spider-Geddon" appearances? If you want additional help, you can seek out Jhenderson777 as he helped establish some of the alternate Spider-Man pages on this website. Rtkat3 (talk) 02:31, 29 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from List of Marvel Comics characters: T into List of Marvel Comics characters: P. Thank you.

I reminded you of this requirement several months ago, at #Copying licensed material requires attribution above. I saw that you made three text moves recently. To be clear, "another page" in your edit summaries is not sufficient.

As a side note, I noticed your edits because List of Marvel Comics characters: T is on my watchlist, although I haven't viewed it in a long time according to updated since your last visit. Flatscan (talk) 04:25, 16 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my reply to @Flatscan:. To talk about the page in question, someone had added Teresa Parker to the T page instead of the P page. Us editors have been listing the characters by last names on those pages. You should have a word with whoever added that entry to the T page from the start about this mistaken entry adding because it wasn't me. In the case of Thousand, he was never called Man-Spider as I had mentioned in an edit summary. Somebody screwed up there. As for the edit summary thing you brought up where I would do something like "transferring content to another page" and it's other page follow up "importing information from another page", what would you prefer for this importing reason I state instead should I encounter another thing similar to what I just mentioned in this discussion? --Rtkat3 (talk) 14:20, 16 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I have no objection to the content of your edits, their edit summaries are the issue. Please review the instructions from Uw-copying above and link the specific page. Flatscan (talk) 04:36, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your note. I skimmed through your contributions for October:

 1.  Y Saracen It would be even better if Saracen (comics) were linked.
 2.  Y Zealot
 3. Skyman, Nuklon Skyman and Nuklon should have been linked.
 4. Scorpion, Scorpia Scorpion (Marvel Comics) should have been linked, and I had to look at Special:PageHistory/Scorpia (comics) and WP:Articles for deletion/Scorpion (Marvel Comics) to determine the exact page.

Working on Draft edit

Hi, I am Magical Golden Whip and currently working on Draft:List of Danger Force characters. I would like to invite you to work on the page and maybe we get Danger Force to have a character page of it's own of course with the proper sources. Magical Golden Whip (talk) 20:41, 20 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my response to @Magical Golden Whip:. Before I do, have you considered talking to other editors like @Amaury: about listing them in the Henry Danger character page since the page has talked about the characters in that and the known spin-offs? Rtkat3 (talk) 00:14, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
No I have not talked to anyone else about this right now, but will bring it up on the talk page.Magical Golden Whip (talk) 23:04, 22 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

October 2022 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Edward Scissorhands, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. When adding uncredited cast members, you must provide a source. DonIago (talk) 03:20, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my reply to @Doniago. The part with Nick Carter was mentioned in the casting information below. Did you want the reference copied in the usual ref name manner if it is to be re-added? Rtkat3 (talk) 03:24, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I think it would be best to repeat the reference then, versus expecting editors to look outside the Cast section for that kind of citation. Thanks! DonIago (talk) 03:27, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
This is my reply to @Doniago. If that is the case, that is how that role will be re-added. Rtkat3 (talk) 03:30, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for the delay; I've not had a chance to revisit the site until just now. Your re-add looks okay to me. I'm a little uncertain about "DVD production notes" as a source (if nothing else it might be helpful to discuss which DVD release assuming there's been more than one, which I didn't check), but I'm not planning to edit that myself. Glad we worked this out! DonIago (talk) 19:28, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
