My Opposition: the Diaries of Friedrich Kellner edit

Small point, isn't there a spelling error in the title: My Opposition: The Diaries of Friedrich Kellner? FWiW, the Friedrich Kellner article has a wealth of reference sources that could be mined. Bzuk (talk) 03:16, 28 April 2008 (UTC).Reply

You are quite right, and I am glad you found the error. I have capitalized the "T" in "The". Usually the word following a colon is not capitalized, but it should be in this case. Once all the improvements to the article have been made, I will then change the official name of the article itself to reflect the correct spelling. One dilemma, though, which you might be able to help with, is that the producer of the documentary used a hyphen instead of a colon after the first part of the title (My Opposition - The Diaries of Friedrich Kellner). Will Wikipedia allow such a hypen in their article title, or will we have to keep the colon? By the way, the documentary was just shown at the Winnipeg Jewish Film Festival -- and it wil wind up in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, once the museum is built. Thanks, Scott Rskellner (talk) 03:40, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

GA reassessment of My Opposition edit

I have conducted a review of the article which has maintained its GA status. It would be good however to see if the book has been published now and re-reference the article if possible. Jezhotwells (talk) 20:23, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

According to Dr. Sascha Feuchert of Justus Liebig University, co-editor of the Diary of Friedrich Kellner, the diary will be published February 2010 by Wallstein Verlag (Publishers) in Göttingen, Germany. It will be published in two volumes, a total of 1,200 pages. At that time, I will include proper reference to the book. --Rskellner (talk) 00:28, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Translation edit

Because World War II extended over the entire European continent (and then around the globe, as the war progressed), each new generation of Europeans will seek to know the truth about what occurred. I think, therefore, that it is important to have the Friedrich Kellner Wikipedia article translated into as many languages as possible. Someday the diary itself will be translated into all those languages.

Hello. Yes, I'll be happy to provide a translation of the article into Greek. However my time is rather limited, so it may be some time before I get around to it. It might also be useful if you could send me the condensed version, I could get that up sooner and expand from the larger one afterwards. Best regards, Constantine 08:06, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it's just fine. No worries about burdening me, I like doing it... :) Constantine 15:42, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'll be happy to do the translation into Finnish, but like Constantine, it will take me some time to get to it since the next couple months are my busiest months at work. -Yupik (talk) 19:25, 16 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have started a stub [after months of procrastinating] in Hindi hi:फ्रेडरिक केलनर.. I am trying to get my friends to do it in Malayalam and Tamil as well. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 10:04, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:20, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
