Genre warrior edits

edit

Your recent edits involving dozens of articles and musical genres, as much as they seem to be in good faith, are not necessarily helping the Wikipedia Project. You appear to be showing signs of being a Genre warrior (yes, people do wander around doing their own personal genre altering so often, that we even have a special name for them), please read the policies on Verifiability, Reliable Sources and No original research. Providing a source is always helpful and will help you back up your claims, removing a sourced genre because you don't agree with it, is usually frowned upon (a la Black Ice (album). kiac. Generations

edit

Please refrain from vandalizing the Generations page. A consensus was reached on the terminology and dates with sources to back them up. You have already been warned about your previous Wiki pages. If you continue to edit in this manner, you will be reported. CreativeSoul7981 (talk) 06:13, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dubstep

edit

Please stop changing the popularity field in the infobox. If you read the article, you'll see that as early as 2007, Burial was gaining massive acclaim and Benga & Coki's 'Night' was a huge hit in the UK. If you have a problem with it, take it to the talk page of the article, where I'm also going to post this. Kaini (talk) 17:08, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
