If you'd like some help with editing or otherwise, you can sign up at the new users log, post a question at the Help Desk, or ask me on my talk page.

Please sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. It is a good idea to read the most recent entries at the bottom of the Talk page of an existing article before making major changes to it, to see if your proposed change has been discussed before. Before I make a major change to an article, I often make a proposal on the Talk page to see if anyone minds.

Again, welcome! -- Ssilvers (talk) 06:56, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Peter Pan edit

Hello, Ronnie Allen. Thank you for your message. I believe that your edits are correct, but since you did not cite a published source that people can check, such as the published score or sheet music, someone else might reverse your changes again. If that happens, do not engage in an edit war. Instead, follow the procedures discussed here: Wikipedia:Contact us - Readers. Good luck! -- Ssilvers (talk) 06:56, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

For everyone's reference, here is information that Ronnieallen previously posted:
I am a deejay who interviewed Sandy Stewart for a radio show that I will soon be posting on the Jersey Girls Sing website. Sandy was married for several years to Moose Charlap.... She and I were reviewing the Wikipedia article on the musical Peter Pan (1954 musical)#Musical_numbers. She told me that four of the songs that Moose and Carolyn were listed as writers of were actually written by Jule Styne (music) and Comden and Green (lyrics). She requested that I correct them and give Styne, Comden and Green the proper credit. The songs in question were "Hook's Tango," "Hook's Tarantella," "Indians" and "Pirate Song." ... This is very important to Sandy and myself and I hope that you will let me know that all is well or instruct me as to what I need to do to resolve this problem. -- Ronnie Allen, May 26, 2017.

To Ssilvers ...... edit

Thank you so very much!!!

Reverted again edit

User:JasonAQuest reverted the changes back to the INCORRECT information. I am very unhappy about this and would like to know what can be done. He did not say why he did so. -- Ronnieallen (talk) 18:23, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ronnie, you can find some ways of raising the issue here: Wikipedia:Contact us - Readers. Jason is correct, however: All new information in the encyclopedia needs to be cited to a published source. Please see WP:V and WP:OR for more information. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:23, 27 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
