Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button

Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted.

June 2009 edit
- Don't worry about the warning above - page blanking is a common form of vandalism and so tends to get reverted on sight, but where an author blanks his own page, if there have been no other substantial edits, that is taken as a request to delete, and from your note on the talk page that is clearly the case here. - Based on information provided by JohnCD, and based on a further review of the article history and your talk page edit, I agree that the edit was not vandalism and have removed the warning. Please be careful to use the edit summary to explain edits, especially where removing content or blanking a page, which can often appear to be vandalism. Alansohn (talk) 13:35, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
April 2010 edit
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your article contributions, such as the edit you made to Owner of a Lonely Heart. This is a simple mistake to make and is easy to correct. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. Daniel Chandler edit
Hi Rodmunday, I saw you added several references to the Daniel Chandler article. Thanks.
There are still a whole lot of problems with the Chandler article. You may have noticed I proposed deletion of the page. There are at least a few of us who have been considering nominating it for deletion (a more formal process that comes after proposing deletion is objected to by someone). Here's the thing, though: I think Chandler IS notable and merits an article. The one he currently has, though, is pretty poor by Wikipedia standards.
I'm going to help to improve it, and would like your help if you're willing. But as it appears that, as a collaborator of his, you have a conflict of interest (click that link for more explanation of Wikipedia's policy on COI), and I'd ask that you not edit the article further. ...But please do use the article's talk page to suggest changes, provide references, and generally collaborate indirectly. Chandler works in a field I'm familiar with and I'm pretty sure I've seen his work around before, but I don't have a lot of first-hand experience so pointing me to reliable secondary sources that talk about his work would help me to improve it.
