November 2023 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy, which is summarized here.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page (this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken or in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. Nick Moyes (talk) 16:58, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello Rocioab23. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Rocioab23. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Rocioab23|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 12:41, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Evercare Medical AB edit

A tag has been placed on Draft:Evercare Medical AB, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello @DoubleGrazing and thanks for the comments, I have to say that I disagree when it comes the fact of not using reliable sources since all the sources are taken from official websites, articles and information written by distributors that talked about the company << that only does stuff >> like you said and minimizing the what this entity gives. I could even talk more about the sustianbility part and the valuable contribution but that the article will be taken as is giving some "advertisement" like has been categorized before.
Take a look for example: Mölnlycke Health Care they even have link to their official pages that are not even found. So please have more consideration on this. I see that you are also against the practice of paid editing on Wikipedia, but if I'm writting for my company and techinically I get paid to write an article and I also declare it here, what is the issue? Please be partial and neutral and not go by personal references.
I'm confident that you can provide better guidance to how to make it better, and not just declining without checking better the sources. Rocioab23 (talk) 14:39, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
My views on paid editing have nothing to do with this. I didn't decline the draft because of your (properly disclosed) paid-editing status. I declined it because the sources don't establish notability per WP:GNG. (I then made an additional remark about there being nothing in the draft that would indicate why this should be included in a global encyclopaedia, and that if accepted this would almost certainly be speedily deleted. But that remark was just by-the-by, and not the reason for declining.)
Comparing your draft against articles that may exist out there is pretty pointless, as they may have their own problems, and in any case we assess drafts by reference to the applicable guidelines and policies, not by comparing them to other articles. (See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS.)
If you wish to dispute my verdict, you're welcome to highlight here the three strongest sources in terms of GNG, and I will take another look, but I'm pretty sure there weren't any that meet that standard. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:46, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
