Sorry for vandalizing my own article - was demonstrating something to my students. :) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rmackinnon (talkcontribs).

One small thing edit

Hello, Becky. You won't know me, but I have visited and commented on your blog (not as JS). Just a small point, please remember not to edit your own wikipedia entry too much. You've been tidying at the moment (and experimenting), which is fine, but doing more technically breaks the rules. You probably know that already - it just looks a little, well you know, if you do it too much. Cheers, John Smith's 12:30, 22 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi John, thanks for the note. I was actually editing my page to demonstrate to my students how to edit wikipedia - and also wanting to use a page that I could temporarily vandalize without upsetting anybody - thus demonstrating how easy it is both to vandalize and to correct. However I can see that this may be considered not so kosher in the greater scheme of things. But I just didn't want to do it to any other page. I figured nobody would care too much if I vandalized myself :) Cheers, --Rmackinnon 17:23, 23 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks so much @I dream of horses! I really appreciate the warm welcome after a long time away from editing. I look forward to getting back in touch soon. Rmackinnon (talk) 21:46, 22 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
