Welcome! edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Newcomers help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I noticed you are known only as an IP address; that means you are not signed up. To sign up, you only need to click Create account and choose a username and password. You don't need to provide any personal information. If you sign up, you'll have a username that others can use to recognize you and leave you messages on the wiki. You'll be able to sign your name just by typing four tildes (~~~~) when you leave someone else a message. Plus, you (and others) will easily be able to see a list of all your contributions to Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, see the help pages, ask at the Village pump, or feel free to ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Also just to note, be sure when you're adding wikilinks such as one to the band Gamma Ray, that you check for disambiguation. (In Gamma Ray's case you need to type [[Gamma Ray (band)]]. Or [[Gamma Ray (band)|Gamma Ray]] so it will look nicer on the page. Hope you enjoy your stay. :) -WarthogDemon 01:00, 31 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Album Overload edit

Hi Ritchie! Welcome to Wikipedia. You have posted an extraordinary number of articles that are track listings of albums. In most cases, you have not even provided the name of the band. Can you please add some context to these articles? If you're planning on adding more to the articles and need more time, please use each article's discussion page to indicate that to other editors. Thanks! Darkspots 22:29, 31 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Heart of a Killer edit

A tag has been placed on Heart of a Killer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, article #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. (aeropagitica) 23:58, 2 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Disment of Soul edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Disment of Soul, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of Pumpkin Tracks edit

Hello, Ritchie Young, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia!

I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you worked on, Pumpkin Tracks, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

It helps to explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the Help Desk. Thanks again for contributing! Mattg82 (talk) 19:28, 22 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
