Please do not edit my userpage again edit

Please do not edit my userpage again. If it offends you, you don't have to read it. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 20:55, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I would prefer also, Rip, that you did not copy my signature markup the way you've done. It's confusing. You can pick your own fonts and colors, like I did, by going to WP:SIGNATURE, also, a list of colors at WP:COLORS, or List of colors. Thanks, Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 22:07, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sorry Keep but fonts and colors are fair game on here. I love the way you and Jayron32 are bullying me. Him threatening me not to change his userspace again, accusing me of some socket thing and you accusing me of ripping off your signature. The two of you act like two drunken college students admining a college website. I also love the way you think its funny that I have an issue with the word F$%^ing being on an Admins userspace. Children do use this website and I would not want them to stumble upon User:Jayron32's userspace and see those words. The two of you have only made me not want to use Wikipedia. Your role as an Admin is to help users not bully them around and laugh and mock them at every chance you get. The next stage I was referring to is Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee. Neither one of you, from the start, have tried to talk this through like the Wiki site requires. A consensus is suppose to be reached not an opinion of two childish admins. --RipWinkleVan | Talk 23:09, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
I won't respond to any of this "stuff", other than the children comment. If children are using this site, which is not censored, that's the parent(s) problem, not Wikipedia's. The odds of "children" stumbling onto "user:Jayron32" are very very slim. Only advanced Wikipedians even know that userpages exist, and bother to read them. If I were you, Rip, I would be more worried (for the children's sake!) about our articles entitled this, this, or this. Thanks, and welcome to the wonderful world of Wikipedia. I asked you earlier on Jayron32's site to tell me where it says it is ok to put offensive profanity on a Userspace? I stated and linked specific Wikipedia rules that say you can not use profanity unless it serves a purpose, show me where it says you can if its a Userspace? --RipWinkleVan | Talk 23:26, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Removing material from someone else's userspace is generally (as you've learned here) frowned upon. If you have a problem with a specific image, you can request that it be deleted. Continuing to remove it from a userpage gets you exactly where we are right now. Nowhere. You can request an image to be deleted at images for deletion, you can request a template be deleted at templates for deletion, or if it doesn't fit in either of those, you can request deletion at miscellany for deletion. Other than those steps, which may or may not provide you with satisfaction or the outcome you're looking for, it is strongly recommended that you do not edit other editor's user pages. Thanks, Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 23:37, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
I only removed it once, then reverted your undo, which you did without even dicussing it with me. You did not even mention once why you undid my change other than to say, "You can not edit userspaces". WHAT? This doesnt make any sense. They contain information just like a Mainspace. You still have not told me where it says in the Wiki rules that you can have profanity in a Userspace? I have showed you where it says you can not but you continue down this road to nowhere. I think it should be taken off and you say it shouldnt. I showed you facts that state it should not be there, you have not showed me ANY facts that say it can be there. Please stop responding to me. You have proven that you can not handle a situation professionaly. I am turning this over to an Editor Assitant then Aribitration. One for you two bullying me and two for him having offensive profanity on Wiki. --RipWinkleVan | Talk 23:48, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Best of luck to you Rip. Please notify me, per custom and courtesy, on my talkpage, if and when you decide to "notify" anyone of any of this nonsense, be it an "editor assistant" or whatever. New users do not work at this level, you are obviously not a new user. I'm all done with this. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 23:55, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • Your request for assistance here: There is no "bullying" as far as I can tell, other than you trying to censor another user's page. Also, calling experienced editors "a bunch of drunk college kids" is a personal attack. Alas, as has been pointed out above, you probably know that already. Can ANY of you admins stay on point for once?? Dorf is now focusing on one thing I said at the END of a very long frustrated conversation. I love the way you focused only on one sentence of what I said then turned around and said NOTHING about the unprofessional behavior of the two admins. Its like all you Admins enjoy ganging up on people instead of DOING your job and getting to the root cause of my edit. NONE of you can give me a SOLID reason for keeping profanity on this user’s page. All you can do it say, "Well everyone else is doing it" and "Why are you focusing on this one user". You have to start some where and this user is blatantly using Wiki as HIS SOUNDING BOARD and using PROFANITY. Which is 100% against Wiki rules. Talking to you all is like talking to a brick wall. There is no consensus here, only dictators pushing their weight around. --RipWinkleVan | Talk 20:25, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
(i) I'm not an admin. (ii) Against which Wiki rules? (iii) You may want to bring this up at the village pump. Dorftrottel (canvass) 07:51, March 27, 2008
I'm a newbie and should have brought this up in the Image Deletion page. I didnt realize that this graphic was linked from someone else that uploaded it. That just shows you how new I still am. This whole process only showed me how unexperienced, rude and unconcerned Admins are on here. Specifically User:Jayron32 and User:Keeper32 --RipWinkleVan | Talk 19:17, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
