Welcome! edit

Hello, Ripmax, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited was Ripmax, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

P.S. Please do not be put off by your edit being reverted - Wikipedia is all about accurate information, but we have to maintain an encyclopaedic tone in all our articles, so cannot promote companies, only report on their activities. We do this by using what we consider to be "reliable sources" for our information, and keeping an impartial tone.

Please take a look at our "Conflict of interest" and "Neutral point of view" policies, and our guidelines on "words to watch" and how to cite sources when creating or editing a page. Again, if you have any questions, please drop me a line on my talk page. — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 14:29, 19 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ripmax article edit

I've clarified that sentence as requested, and I've expanded it with a few more details. I notice that the version of the article that you submitted contained text from the history page on the Ripmax site; another thing to note is that Wikipedia cannot accept text copied from another site for copyright reasons. I've also not included much information for specific product range, as typically that changes too frequently for Wikipedia to reasonably keep up, so becomes outdated quite quickly. — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 16:24, 20 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

May 2016 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ripmax has been reverted.
Your edit here to Ripmax was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/Ripmaxltd) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 10:08, 18 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
