Sources and copyright edit

You cannot link to videos of music that is not uploaded in accordance to copyright law. The video you linked to does not appear to be uploaded by its copyright holder and I had to remove it per WP:LINKVIO. Also, you should not remove maintenance templates until they are actually addressed. the {{primary source inline}} is not changed by adding yet another reference. It should be removed if a better reference is found. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:46, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

if you wish on cleaning up the page i recommend removing all other sources of copyrighted videos and adding substitute sources instead of just mine :) Rikieboy1 (talk) 20:49, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Posting links to lyrics pages edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. OhNoitsJamie Talk 20:59, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

you can't do that? i can't link the song and i can't link the lyrics even though others have done the exact same thing on the article, what am i supposed to put as a source then? also it's not a spam link Rikieboy1 (talk) 21:18, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
I don't know if a level three warning was warrented, but no, you cannot use user-generated content as a source. You know what, you have not been supplied with a good set of tools. Aside from WP:RS you'll need the following. Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:33, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Adding inappropriate links edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:01, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

it's the song where he talks about this information? inappropriate? Rikieboy1 (talk) 17:20, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
That material is already sourced. We don't need additional links to lyrics or mp3 sharing sites. You won't be warned again. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:31, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) Yes, inappropriate. A song is just that, a song. I may be biographical, it may be pure fiction. Do you think that
The Beach Boys get around
Paul McKartney has a mother Mary
Britney Spears did it again
Katy Perry kissed a girl and she liked it

I could go on, but you see the problem. Rapers are well know to exaggerate escapades. Please read WP:RS to see what constitutes a reliable source, particularly for biographic information about a subject.

I also tried to explain that above and to point to the reliable sources page there as well. You do not seem to want to relent in your addition of that copyright violation as a source. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:35, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Biagio Gramaticopolo edit

The article Biagio Gramaticopolo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable tennis player who fails to meet WP:NTENNIS and WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fataho Nerie moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Fataho Nerie, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Eddie Roberts (boxer) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Eddie Roberts (boxer), is not suitable as written to remain published. While it appears to be notable, it needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. While he appears notable, there are large sections which are wholly uncited. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask on my talk page. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Or feel free to ping me to take another look.Onel5969 TT me 12:23, 12 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Onel5969:
all of my information on this page is cited, i think your confusion lies with the fact that a big portion of the professional career part comes from BoxRec and thus I didn't bother adding the BoxRec source again and again after each paragraph but seeing this now i can understand that this might cause some confusion, this issue is fixed now. Concerning the rest of the article, these parts are cited using newspapers.
Hope you recheck this and sorry for the confusion.
