Speedy deletion nomination of Title Source edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Title Source, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Removing Speedy at Title Source edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for taking the time to contribute.

I'm a bot designed by another Wikipedia editor, and I'm here to help you with our deletion process. I noticed that while working on an article recently, you removed a speedy deletion template that tagged it for deletion. Don't get discouraged! Deletion discussions happen on Wikipedia all the time.

If you don't want the article to get deleted, please click here.

The link will take you to the talk page, where you can explain why the article should be kept. If you have any questions about this or need help with editing, you can ask at the Help desk.

We really hope you'll stick around to help make Wikipedia better! Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 16:32, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Deletion edit

In case you didn't see it, I'm copying a comment from the article talk page:

"Yes, you've made that point. A page does not have to specifically direct a user to purchase the products or services of a company to be promotional. In this case, the page serves only to praise Title Source, in a manner that appears intended to sway a reader's opinion about the company. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:47, 22 October 2012 (UTC)"Reply

The page was promotional in style, whatever the intent behind it. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a directory, and articles must adhere to WP:NPOV (neutral point of view). In addition, I would advise you to read WP:CORP and WP:RS. Corporate notability, and reliable independent sources. To prove notability, the company must pass CORP, and this must be proved with RS. The company site and press releases, blogs, directories, lists, etc, are not considered reliable independent sources. Peridon (talk) 18:09, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Title Source Low Res Logo For Wikipedia.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Title Source Low Res Logo For Wikipedia.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:42, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
