Goguryeo edit

This is a very contentious topic, so all editors (especially if you are a new editor) must be extraordinary cautious when making contestable changes. Please check Talk:Goguryeo for current consensus, and do a search before proposing any changes, as chances are what you are proposing probably have been discussed many times before in a contentious topic like this one. Image copyright problem with File:Gojoseon dynasty.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Gojoseon dynasty.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the image description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.

Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thanks again for your cooperation. – Train2104 (t • c) 02:20, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Alex Shihさん、僕は人種者別的な発言をしてないのです。I didn't but i will stop talking ok? you can be a friend of mine.Just calm down.Richeaglenoble (talk) 09:35, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Hijiri 88 (やや) 10:12, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Alex Shih, Hijiri 88, and Richeaglenoble, this is not the Japanese Wikipedia. Please post in English so other editors can see what is being discussed. You obviously all know English well enough for that. Bishonen | talk 10:26, 13 September 2017 (UTC).Reply
@Bishonen: It's basically the same as what I posted on ANI here. REN is posting stuff in English and Japanese (some of the Japanese stuff was on my page, more on Japanese Wikipedia) that really looks kinda racist, and Google Translate tells me that the Korean stuff he is posting is apparently worse. Believe me: nothing would please me more than not having to communicate with this user in Japanese, but he admitted he was unable to engage in civil discussion in English and asked a random Korean-speaking editor to explain his actions for him. So you can't blame Alex for attempting to use Japanese to get the "Stop being racist" point across.
And then there's the repeated copy-vio, the 6 reverts in just over 24 hours, the refusal to stay off my talk page despite being told not to ("私の会話ページにもう投稿しないでください。" = "Please don't post on my talk page again."), the sockpuppetry... It's really incredible that he hasn't been blocked already.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for per this discussion at WP:ANI.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  —SpacemanSpiff 12:39, 15 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Richeaglenoble, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
