Image copyright problem with Image:Blackstone-fortresses.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Blackstone-fortresses.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.

Request for edit summary

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 7% for major edits and 3% for minor edits. (Based on the last 114 major and 88 minor edits in the article namespace.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 23:01, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Edits to Xenomorph (Alien)

Hi, regarding your edits to Xenomorph (Alien): I appreciate your edit to this article here, but I would like you to please cite your sources. You did state that "ALIEN-FUZION RPG" is the source for these statements, but I cannot find them anywhere. Can you help me locate this book, if it even is abook; I generally require the ISBN number. If it is not a book, and was found here, then sadly I cannot accept this as a source becuase it is fan and original research: that is, help that you have received yourself and have no sources for. Thanks very much. Kilo-Lima|(talk) 17:31, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

Sentinels

I'm not sure, but maybe the new sentinels you refer to at the List of programs and machines in the Matrix series are the Runners. I won't revert it because, as said above, I am not sure. Just checking.

Thanks for helping improve the articles. -- VdSV9 12:09, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Outlands.jpg

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Outlands.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rory096 21:34, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

this means you???

Jesse, i'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, but I heard that you were placing threats on the Ed Edd 'n' Eddy page to other editors. please stop this. no user has the right to issue threats, and the page is open to anyone who wants to edit it. i'm not trying to be a jerk, i'm just telling you.

Matrix Story

Nice read, but there were a few flaws in it that contradicted the canon of the films as well as common science.

  • Cold fusion could not possible general EM blasts, and the human bodies wouldn't in any way "absorb" them even if it did
  • The Architect purposely created Zion and allowed humans to escape from the matrix. He stated this in his talk with Neo
  • The "anomaly" was not mathematical, but the sum of all of the imperfections. Instead of allowing the entire system to have these minor imperfections they were all essentially gathered and funneled into a single source... Neo. Thus he was allowed to leave the matrix and make the same decision he had made over and over again, thus returning the imperfections to the matrix and allowing the cycle to repeat itself
  • The computers had absolutely no need to use human brains as "extra processing" as the human brain is grossely inefficient compared to a machine and that suggests a symbiosis where as the computers were completley using the humans as an energy source, not to "share" their collective and inefficient minds

Still... was a nice read. Enigmatical 22:47, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging for Image:674370.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:674370.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
