Cyclone Phet

edit

Hi. I see you have removed the death toll due to the thunderstorms from the total death tolllfigure of the storm. However, if there are no objections, I will probably be re-adding those numbers into the article but as an indirect toll. This is because the thunderstorms and the flooding they caused are associated with the larger low pressure rea of the storms, and would not have occurred nor caused those deaths without the Cyclone, so they are usually included in the indirect death toll in addition to deaths from rip currents, traffic accidents, inland flooding, etc. Thanks. ~AH1(TCU) 19:51, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please check my response on Cyclone Phet discussion page. Thanks.

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
