your edits to Bowie knife edit

i wonder if you'd consider reverting all your edits to Bowie knife? I'm not sure what you had in mind, since you didn't leave edit summaries at all, but you removed some important information and some citations too. the international phonetic alphabetic spelling that you took out is useful for showing pronounciation since it's independent of different regional pronounciations, and you also removed an important alternate pronounciation, citations for these pronounciations, and a link to a sound clip illustrating the pronounciation. if you have some reason to think that these things shouldn't be in the article, maybe we could discuss it? if not, i hope you'll seriously consider reverting all your edits for the good of the article. thanks! — alf.laylah.wa.laylah (talk) 00:01, 27 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

ok, well, anyway, i just put back all the IPA stuff on pronounciation, along with reference, as per WP:PRONOUNCE. if you don't approve for some reason, we can talk about it. — alf.laylah.wa.laylah (talk) 05:04, 27 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
