Jacob Toft-Andersen

I just thought I'd let you know that I saw your article Jacob Toft-Andersen in the New Articles list-- This image is real great.However, I think the article seems to contain a few errors: the references in the article do not follow Wikipedia guidelines. The International

Hi, I saw that you created a sub-section for Valve's Gamescom tournament and as admirable as your intentions were, it was interfering with the integrity of the page, because the text used wasn't even centered around The International; it simply mentioned that it was a stepping stone for development and there was also text for Valve's new development plans. Further mentions of The International may be mentioned later on, but not until the game has been released, in which it would be classified as the "annual Dota 2 championship", under "Reception and Legacy", just like its predecessor article, Defense of the Ancients.

I do understand that you had the best intentions, but please, step back for a while and learn the ropes of Wikipedia before making such an edit. We already have it covered in the article and according to the peer review, it has progressed as far as it can go for now. DarthBotto _talk•cont 04:14, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

Probably not. It may be okay to mention it on the page for Gamescom, under the 2010 section, but it would likely encounter the same degree of scrutiny that your other pages have been met with. Again, I'd figure that it would be good to have it predominantly mentioned in the future, when the competitive scene takes off, but until then, we should probably stay the course. Do you really think i am arguing endlessly instead of discussing the feasibility of those projects i mentioned? I have made a strong claim here. On The International, i think with these sources provided by another user, ology.com, VG247, VG247, VG247, GameRevolution.com, Joystiq, ShackNews, Kotaku, GamesRadar, PCGamer, GamePro, GameFront, is it sufficiently notable? Yes and to prove the point how many times are you going to post that same set of sources and have it explained to you why they do not establish notability? You argue endlessly and if you don;t get your way you go to another page and make the same statements there, then off to another page, then back to the first page... Canvassing and Forum Shopping

To make this clear. If you start a conversation on anymore talk pages about the same issue I will go to WP:ANI. You are clearly canvassing and arguing an ideology at this point. You have shown no good faith in other editors constantly making accusations about them. Your behavior is beyond disruptive to the project at this point. I will ask the Administrators for a topic ban which means you will not be able to take part in any video game or gamer related articles. Please stop your disruptive behavior. I have been considering going to ANI also, and will make sure to voice my concerns if it comes to that. I think a topic restriction encompassing all of gamign would be unessecary, restricting to professional gaming, eSports, competitions and the games in these competitions would be sufficient. I also find the lack of good faith in trying to reach standard consensus to be a concern. The "shopping" and multiple discussions in various places about a single topic greatly worries me. On the other hand, I have no doubt the editor is, from a content creation standpoint, a great asset to Wikipedia. As I've told you before, RedefiningHistory, I strongly wish you would put your skills to good use instead of continuing to argue and stockpiling discussion and content creation about the same thing (only to be deleted by evident consenses). Hi. Was it yesterday or two days ago that you promised me on IRC that you would disengage from forum shopping? Oh wait. That was yesterday on Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard: "Sorry for that. I'll go to sleep first. Won't canvass anyone of you in chats, wont go aggressive again. I never knew what is the criteria for canvassing." And yeah. I can't quite figure out how to say this, but on IRC, I thought it was made abundantly clear to you: If you went to another Wikipedia page to ask about sources, you would be before WP:AN/I.
