April 2019 edit

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Aalisha Panwar, from its old location at User:Redcap78/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. @Celestina007: Hey, the above draft had been re-edited as per Wikipedia guidelines. Can you go through once again. Redcap78 (talk) 16:54, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Redcap78, there’s no deadline on when to submit or create an article of your choice so what’s the haste? In due time your article would be reviewed. Hey @I dream of horses, Premeditated Chaos do you have any idea why this editor wants their articles reviewed earlier than usual? Your guess is as good as mine. Celestina007 18:00, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Nope, but if I had to guess without I'd assume they're being paid and there's a deadline. ♠PMC(talk) 18:02, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Celestina007, it's inevitable they're being paid. I dream of horses (Contribs) Please notify me after replying off my talk page. Thank you. 18:31, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
It definitely feels like it. My gut instinct once I got the ping from them. Celestina007 (talk) 19:01, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Well, the queries has been taken to far in conversation. Following the Wikipedia guidelines. The subject Matter notability in India is valued but subject in Wikipedia is in blacklist so I can't override it. So I ping the fellow editors who deals with this problem. But if the article is going to take time for review I am going to wait for that @Celestina007 and @Premeditated Chaos. Redcap78 (talk) 18:24, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Slashes edit

Hi there, please avoid using slashes in prose like you did here. Slashes are ambiguous, and readers aren't going to intuitively know what you are trying to communicate. If an actor replaced another actor, that information should be written up somewhere, likely in the character description. Also, per WP:TVCAST, new cast members are added chronologically to the bottom of the list, so this slash business isn't consistent with community guidelines.

While a seemingly trivial matter, this is a huge problem largely in Indian television articles, where people rarely expend the effort to write in complete sentences and thoughts. It just promotes ignorance instead of clarity, communication and quality. As a worst-case scenario, look at this version of a different article, and try to conceive of all the things Giaa Manek/Rubina Dilaik as Jeannie/Jenu/Chutki/Rajjo Ji/Jwala/Roopa/Mrs.Khanna (2012-2013)/(2013-2014) could possibly mean.

Did Gia Manek change her name to Rubina Dilaik? Are these two actors who worked at the same time? Did they work intermittently depending on who was available? Did one replace the other? Are all those names after the "as" unique characters? The same character but with different nicknames? Are they nonuplets? What's with the parentheticals separated by slashes? Are they trying to say that Manek had this/these roles from 2012-2013, but then Dilaik took over from 2013-2014? Or does it mean that both actors worked until some point in 2013, then were pulled from the show and then came back later in 2013?

Hopefully you can see the problem. Thanks for your consideration. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:49, 20 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Cyphoidbomb:Hy,I got your point but in many previous Indian Television articles like this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balika_Vadhu slashes had been used to denote the actor that replaced other actor.

Since, Meer Ali replaced the other character so it's been placed there. Redcap78 (talk) 04:41, 21 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Safarnama (TV series) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Safarnama (TV series), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notable Awards edit

This message is regarding your recent edit on Mahima Makwana. Please read WP:FILMCRITICLIST. Zee Rishtey Awards doesn't have a page, it is just redirected to Zee TV. The page got deleted last year due to non-notability [1]. In simple words, if an award has it's own page on Wikipedia than it could be added otherwise not. Hence, in-house awards like most channel awards are non-notable on Wikipedia and aren't considered. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or visit The Help desk or you may leave a message on my talk page. ManaliJain (talk) 06:07, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

@ManaliJain: No, there's not any problem. Although Few years back "Zee Rishtey Aawrds" had it's own page. Thanks for informing about the in-house Award and notability error. (Redcap78 (talk) 09:49, 27 October 2021 (UTC))Reply

Yes, Zee Rishtey Awards had it's page till last year, but got deleted due to non-notability. So since then, it's not considered notable anymore. ManaliJain (talk) 10:21, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

January 2023 edit

Hello Redcap78. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Redcap78. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Redcap78|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. signed, Rosguill talk 21:26, 14 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello@Rosguill. I am oblige from wikipedia rules and regulations and respect the privacy. No, I haven't been compensated for any kind of edits. Though, I have created the article from neutral point of view. The supposed user @Israrhashim1[2] had ulter the point of view regularly followed by unknown users [3].Supposedly, I contest for deletion of the article Sumbul Touqeer Khan. It will be helpful.
