Thank you, I have done as you suggested. There is a redirect as well.

Regarding the use of macrons, it was explained to me by a university lecturer, who is also quite knowledgable with budo, that now a days there is no need to use the macron on the Japanese words that are regularly used in English and are written in roman characters. Eg. (You mentioned) kendo, even the AKF don't use a macron with "Kendo" in their name.

Kendo 66.

Rutter redirect to Periplus edit

Hallo: can you explain this redirect? I've just made a page for Barrie Rutter, would like to do a disambiguation page for various Rutters, and I can't see the connection between Rutter and Periplus - the weird thing is that I've got a back-of-the-mind feeling that I know the word "Rutter" as some sort of navigational document, but the Oxford English Dictionary has 3 definitions none of which are this, and I can't see the word mentioned on the Periplus page! Ah-hah! Have just looked up "Ruttier" in OED, and it has a definition which includes the spelling "Rutter" in some of the quotes - I'll take that up with them. I'll include a link to "Periplus" from a "Rutter" disambiguation page. PamD 18:28, 29 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
