Edits by User:Bumblebeeman92

Hello ... you recently cleaned up some non-constructive edits by Bumblebeeman92 (talk · contribs) to The Simpsons (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) ... would you please do the same with what they did to Family Guy (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)? I would do it myself, but it's semi-protected. Thnx! —72.75.100.232 11:28, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

re: Zakir Naik

I removed your additions to this page. Adding external links must follow Wikipedia:External links. In this case, the links don't seem to "contain neutral and accurate material." Thanks and enjoy your time on wikipedia. Recurring dreams 04:44, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Maybe that's fair, but it should be presented that not all the Scholars of Islam agree with his position. As a matter of fact, it is my understanding the eminent scholars of the University of Madinah are the ones refuting him. I believe that this should be presented so as to give an all-round view of the individual. The sites that I put were the opinions of scholars, and not merely a chat forum. God knows best. If that's the case, the information should be placed in the main body of the text, and those websites used as references for that information. Recurring dreams 05:36, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Makes sense. Will do, succinctly. Servant114 03:03, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

AFDs

I initially put a notability tag on the article so editors could try and find suitable sources to prove notability because it clearly lacks evidence of notability. Regular contributors to the article pulled the tag down twice and suggested to immediately take the matter to afd for resolution, so I did. I tried to explain that the article needed evidence of notability but it didn't look like I was going to convince the regular editors. Username nought 13:35, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Y.E.C. Headquarters speedy deletion

Thank you for the information on how to keep this article from being deleted and the criteria for an article about a website. I am a relative new and enthusiastic user who focuses on subjects I have personal interest in and appreciated any help in understanding how to improve my role as an editor of Wikipedia. RiverBissonnette 03:20, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply. I am not convinced that the subject of the article fulfils criteria listed in the policy WP:WEB. A large portion of the page is concerned with Wikipedia editing which is not notable and violates WP:OR, and also possibly Wikipedia:No personal attacks. I appreciate that you are new and are trying to contribute to the project, but I don't believe this topic belongs in the encyclopedia. Happy editing. Recurring dreams 04:04, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Re: Palmares, Pernambuco

Aah, well spotted. I didn't find it in the search cos it hasn't been copy pasted, and the article title's different, but I think you may be right that it does meet A2. It's not entirely clear on WP:CSD whether it means an exact copy of the foreign article (which is what I always thought) or just a foreign article on the same topic. - Zeibura(talk) 07:59, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, either we speedy it and wait for someone to translate the pain Portugese page, or leave a short translated version of the current material. Recurring dreams 08:12, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
I've asked for some clarification at WT:CSD, so hopefully someone there'll know which is the best idea. - Zeibura(talk) 08:15, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Please take a look at Controversies over the film Sicko and comment on merge proposal

Hi,

The title says it all. I am requesting your opinion only because you've edited the Sicko (film) article and therefore appear to have an interest in the movie. I created the "Controversies" article and think it should stay, but I'd welcome your opinion whatever it is. If you consider this message annoying, I apologize. I'm leaving this message with you and some others without violating WP:CANVASS. I won't be leaving another message asking you to comment again. Noroton 23:16, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Australian literature

Hi. Thanks for the comment. I am looking through the Aust Lit. contributions, finding a lot missing and a lot of variable standards, incomplete pages, incomplete lists. Hope my learning picks up and I can understand more of the wiki features and functions. Is there such a thing as a mentor on wiki? Someone who won't mind me asking trivial questions? There is always the help features, but ... Stellar 14:28, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
