Robert Hooke edit

Your contribution to talk:Robert Hooke was fine. If you would like to suggest a replacement text, it would be most welcome  – we are all volunteers here so, as you will soon find out, if you want anything doing right around here you have to do it yourself. <grin>. Again, welcome. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 00:16, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I should have made clear that you are perfectly entitled to edit the article in situ. As with almost all articles on Wikipedia, there is no obligation to get a draft approved first. If you don't need help with any fancy formatting, there is no good reason why you should unless you would prefer a 'dry run' first. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 19:18, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
