I believe the information in the edit I added was already sourced. In the description for Amenemhat, he is described as "a prince of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt; the son of Pharaoh Thutmose IV. " and the source given is [10], "Dodson, Aidan; Hilton, Dyan (2004). The Complete Royal Families of Ancient Egypt. London: Thames & Hudson." Checking the source already listed shows that the son of Thutmose IV is indeed Amenemhat, but specifically Amenemhat IV. I believe whoever added him to the table likely just forgot to complete his title.

As none of the other names in the tables have citations, I was unsure of how to indicate this. Please let me know if you have any advice! RebelliousBees (talk) 19:23, 12 November 2022 (UTC)

Hello. Indeed Thutmose IV had a son named Amenemhat, but he cannot be the same as Amenemhat IV for two simple reasons:

• Prince Amenemhat predeceased his father Thutmose IV, thus well before having the chance to become pharaoh. The crown passed to prince Amenhotep;
• Pharaoh Amenemhat IV lived circa four centuries before Thutmose IV.

The page about Amenemhat (son of Thutmose IV) redirects to List of Egyptian mummies (royalty), most likely because there is not much known about him, and consequently not enough to create a page about him. Lone-078 (talk) 00:10, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
