You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The 100 (TV series). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Do not add Alycia Debnam-Carey as Lexa or Erica Cerra as A.L.I.E.; they are not in the opening credits, hence they are not main characters. Alex|The|Whovian? 17:03, 7 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:RealGryphon reported by User:Clpo13 (Result: ). Thank you. clpo13(talk) 17:18, 7 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Main cast status

edit

Just to clarify what others have told you, per WP:TVCAST, "main" cast members are determined by the series producers (not by popularity, screen time, or episode count) and generally have a set order in the credits. In fact, WP:TVCAST says "The cast listing should be organized according to the series original broadcast credits". In short, main cast members are listed in the opening credits. If they are not listed in the opening credits as main cast, they are not main cast members. Erica Cerra is specifically listed as a guest star, not as main cast. --AussieLegend () 17:44, 7 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you (User talk:AussieLegend) for finally reaching out. I understand and I have pledged to not disrupt the document any longer. However, I would have appreciated you contact me beforehand instead of directly reporting me to the Wikipedia Administration. Let me be clear, I hope we can move forward and make Wikipedia a better place for all.

I didn't report you, somebody else did. I just added a diff of one of your earlier reverts to it, and there is no excuse for removing my post as you did. --AussieLegend () 18:11, 7 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
AussieLegend, let us put our differences aside and move forward in order to make Wikipedia a better place for all. RealGryphon

This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. AussieLegend () 17:47, 7 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at The 100 (TV series). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Bishonen | talk 20:05, 7 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

To whomever it may concern, I am saddened to have been blocked for 31 hours. I am relatively new to the Wikipedia editing scene and the last thing I want is to have my account compromised. I completely understand why I am at fault and I promise not make the same mistake again. I looked through Wikipedia's policies and I believe that I fully understand what I have done wrong and I pledge to not commit such actions again. Additionally, I would like to fully apologize to AussieLegend. I accidentally deleted part of his post and I would like to take this opportunity to say that I meant no harm as I was merely commenting to resolve this issue with him. Furthermore, my goal is not to create conflict but rather to promote knowledge sharing, personal growth and the core values that Wikipedia embodies. Let me be clear, I am ready to make Wikipedia a better place for all. I hope that those involved in the appeal decision making understand my regret and know that I am committed towards not making the same mistakes again. Thank you. Please forgive me. I understand my punishment and I am eager to get back to editing and creating a better Wikipedia! 21:08, 7 May 2015 (EST)

Decline reason:

Having looked at your editing history, I find your claims of innocent ignorance disingenuous. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 08:08, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Dear JamesBWatson, please do not visit my page ever again. Many thanks! :)
