Your contributed article, Lurrenz edit

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Lurrenz. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Lawrence Onuzulike. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Lawrence Onuzulike - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.  IShadowed  ✰  05:00, 14 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Lawrence Onuzulike edit

A tag has been placed on Lawrence Onuzulike requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Lawrence Onuzulike edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Lawrence Onuzulike, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.llumina.com/store/onuzulike.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. {{unblock|I noticed the first page was deleted but I didn't know most of the reasons why since I'm new to Wikipedia. But after the second deletion, I took time to check why and was happy to read Nancy's article. Now everything is clear. I'll like to carry on contributing - properly. So please unblock me. Thanks}}.

Proposed deletion of Lawrence Onuzulike edit

The article Lawrence Onuzulike has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This BLP is of a non-notable person. This person has released 1 album on his own label (as can be seen on his near-empty allmusic.com entry). releasing an album on a non-notable label which is owned by the artist does not qualify for notability, as the label must be independent from the artist WP:NOTE. Furthermore, this person has released 2 books, all self-published work [1] - [2].

Wikipedia rule of notability for books clearly states that self-publication is an indication of non-notability. Apart from the non-notable album and the self-published books, the entire article has a deeply promotional tone, is full of peacock terms, does not cite any references and even the 2 external links lead to websites that contain unreliable and unverifiable content. the external link to the german page is of a non-notable internet radio. The 2nd external link leads to the Daily Sun site, featuring an interview that again is filled with peacock terms. The story of "Mother Theresa's prophesy" is outrightly ridiculous. Anybody can make such claims. The motive behind such claims is clear: self-promotion and giving and the creation of importance where there is none. I therefore propose this article for deletion.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Amsaim (talk) 08:58, 16 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rapulu, I've responded at the AFD - and you really, I mean really, need to understand one basic thing - this website is an encyclopedia. It is NOT against you, it is NOT interested in your original research or thoughts, it is NOT racist or against Africans, and it is NOT subject to many many laws or common practicies (e.g. you have NO freedom of speech here). Trust me my friend - I'm happy to help but I can't help if you don't understand what Wikipedia is not. Pedro :  Chat  20:55, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
